It’s borderline embarrassing that our best player is a loanee.

Is it?

I mean if he was shit and our best player then yeah, but he's not is he?

No chance we recall him. Rutter doing extremely well.

Also we have Riley, Pedro, adingra, March and minteh to add to today’s squad who were missing. I actually think we have the most strength in depth in the whole league without facundo. It’s a shame half our players are always injured.

Not just good on the ball. Works his ass off!!!! Just as good off the ball!!!!

For me, that’s what separates him from being just a quality player to someone who could potentially be a world-beater.

He gets called up to the world’s best international side, and it’s not surprising. At the moment, he’s our best player and he’s 19!!!

As a Brighton fan living in Leicestershire for the last 19 years I can assure you Buonanotte isn't for sale unless we get a daft offer like we did for Caiceido which is probably out of Leicester's pay grade even if you guys stay up (which I think you will). I just don't want him to go to Chelsea 😭

Brighton think a lot of him and know he has unreal potential however we have so much talent in that part of the pitch that the club knew he needs to start the majority of games this season and he isn't ready for that yet given the competition in our squad. He was very inconsistent last season, either brilliant or anonymous so game time is crucial. Loaning out our developing players is part of our strategy (see Mitoma, Minteh, White, Adingra, van Hecke, Barco, Atari) and I fully expect him to be back in the fold next season and fighting for a place in our starting lineup.

Good luck for the rest of the season and look after our little Argie. Just don't turn into Leeds fans (🤮) who thought they had a god given right to sign Ben White after we loaned him to them and made out like they discovered him. I doubt you will though as Leicester fans have always been very decent when I've frequented the KP. It's my mum's 70th birthday when we play you in December and the selfish woman has decided to have a family meal just before kickoff so I won't make it this year, some people....

Imo he’s better than Rütter who is essentially in your team ahead of him.

I was very sceptical about Rutter especially given the feeling we paid for him but he is a cut above FB at present with his physicality and decision making. I'm sure FB will become a better player than Rutter but at the present moment he's still a work in progress

Can Leicester afford £100m? It's not a slur on Leicester but not many teams in the league will be able to afford to buy him from us. Leicester are historically a bigger team than Brighton but at present we are better run club and FB would be looking at moving to one of the big six or a top European club.

Looks like a win all round at the moment...

He gets experience which benefits Brighton if they want to keep or sell for a profit.

We have a player who clearly makes us better.

He gets game time and puts himself either in contention for a start at Brighton, or a move elsewhere.

I think it's certain he won't be here next season sadly, but I'm glad we have him for now.

You can blame the tv companies for that, not your mum!

He is an exciting talent, but there are also frustrating things about his game. Like he can glide past a few players and then take a heavy touch and lose it, or not release it when he has an easy pass on. Don’t get me wrong he’s got real potential, and he could well be the difference this season, but let’s keep him grounded shall we. But I do like that naivety - he’ll always have a go and and try. In summary, while he can be frustrating he’s also a match winner.

Probably not, at least not without refunding the money we’ve undoubtedly paid to take him on loan.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. He's mediocre at best, just not the type of player we need and would struggle at most clubs.

I'll tell you what Brighton, as we feel sorry for the fact that you have such an average player on your books, we'll take him off your hands, for £10m, OK you know what, we can push it to £15m but now you've got us over a barrel. Damn I wish we weren't so nice helping other clubs like Brighton so much..
