Really rate him, don’t get why he’s been dropped. Always looking to make something happen and love his work rate to win it back.

It’s another bizarre Cooperism - he’s been been terrific so far. One of the 1st names on the team sheet for me.

Commentary mentioned we are managing his injury apparently, maybe not 100% fit?

That makes sense. More communication would be helpful. Can’t see that keeping that quiet would be beneficial.

Let’s see where Cooper tries to shoehorn him in next game.  He’ll probably be dropped for being too attacking.  We need him, Mav & Fatawu attacking quickly together.

It won’t happen as he’ll play Ndidi and Ayew in there to stink it out

If him and Fatawu start it gives us the ability to get up the pitch and create something. They both work incredibly hard of the ball too so there's no excuse from Cooper.

Both are very positive and push defenders back.  But this is not the copper way.

Great scouting, shame about the deal we’ve made. Unless there is a secret buy clause

Only hope I think is of Bueno enjoys it so much here he makes it clear he wants to stay. That will mean a minimum of staying up, and probably much better. Brighton seem stacked in that position now so they could be persuaded to let him go for a decent fee...

Tidy little player. Lots of energy, skill and quick feet. Left their left back for dead for the goal and helped set the tempo for the first half.

Needs to keep being played in off the left as that worked well today.

I wouldn't read too much into the fact we haven't got an option/obligation.  That's largely down to Brighton not being stupid tbh.  Buo hasn't really shown his value for Brighton but rather than loan him to us with an arbitrary figure to buy him, they've made sure they don't undersell him.  They'd have got a relatively trifling fee for him if we'd have negotiated a set number. Given they paid about £5mill for him there's a much bigger upside to be made on him if they decide to part ways with him which is a massive PSR win for them yet again if he comes good. And currently he is.  If he's a key player in keeping us up there's nothing to say they wouldn't be interested in selling him, but they'll be asking £30-40mill for him rather than then £10mill they might've gotten otherwise.  So we may be able to get him eventually, it's just gonna cost.
