Seriously For Fox Sake analyst. Watch youtube of a 18yr old Argentine nr10 for Barca destroy Juve - not perfect but not million miles from our loan boy. Buy the LCFC shirt - collectors item. 'Remember when he played for us.'

Not normally a fan of loan signings unless there's an option to buy like Fatawu, but this guy is mustard. Can see him ending up at Real Madrid or Man City. Absolute baller.

Also not having that he's not better than what Brighton currently have in their starting 11.

He's miles better than Rutter. We saw him first hand last season, couldn't finish his dinner! Facu has the full package, they just wouldn't want to admit he's better cause they spunked silly money on Rutter.

He'll never play for Brighton again. I think a big club puts a massive wedge down for him next summer.

Definitely think this is a big possibility if he maintains this form and we don't **** his ACLs for lols.

I think anyone at either Leicester or Brighton getting attached is naive.

Will make Brighton some good wedge though and if he keeps us up I'm happy.

Only chance is to make a big offer now before he starts to show even more.

I suppose Facundo has got to weigh up whether he wants to go and win the champions league under the best managers in the world, or stay and play for Steven Cooper for a few more years

its a big decision I’m sure

I might be wrong but unusual for Prem to Prem loans having recall options.

I doubt we'd have agreed to a recall after we got stung with Casadei last season. It's not like we have an idiot doing our transfer business 🤔

No suggestion of a recall clause, and a loan fee paid for the season is almost definitely involved anyway nixing that. You’ve got him for the whole season, short of season-ending injury.

And with Gomez arriving in January, Buonanotte would be up against Minteh, March, Adingra, Mitoma, Enciso, Gomez, Rutter and Pedro for a place, so wouldn’t get a look in currently. Rutter has two goals and two assists in his last three games (Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle).

We haven’t seen the best from him at our club in his development so far (he was only 17-19 when playing for us!), but given his contract until 2028, if he has an incredible season for you any fee we receive will be astronomical. Our entire model is built around exactly this happening, so I don’t think the fans would be heartbroken if he was sold for a big fee.

We paid £5.3m plus a further possible £5.3m in add-ons, so if we got £50m+ for him and Rutter continues his scintillating form, I don’t think the fans will be too disappointed.

He really looks like he's enjoying himself here and shows 10x more passion and heart than a lot of the fringe leeches that have ran their contracts down over the years.

It's not just having the frightening ability at his age - that's important, don't get me wrong -  but to have that focus, determination, professionalism and desire at his age is just very rare.

Just think how much more of an impact he's having than Kane did for starters!

I think he could be the next generational superstar that's going to the very top and we'll look back at this in 10 years with pride that he ever played for us.

Yes we would. Agree with the gist of many of your posts in this thread, but not here.

I’d personally be very disappointed to sell Buonanotte for £50m. That’s nowhere near his peak value and if I were a Leicester fan I’d be delighted with that deal. Given his age and ceiling I’d be looking at £80m+ and I’d still be unhappy to sell him. Crazy money but that is the industry we’re in, and Brighton have shown they won’t be pushed around by bigger clubs. We’ll extract maximum value and rightfully so.

But you’re spot on in other posts. Many Leicester fans are setting themselves up for disappointment if they think they’ll sign him come end of the season. And I don’t say that to be arrogant, as Brighton fans we went through similar with Levi Colwill. The mantra of “don’t fall in love with a loan player” does tend to hold up.

What happens next season with Facundo remains to be seen, a lot of ways things could play out, so speculation to say he’s definitely not going back to Brighton or whatever.
Eg, Pedro and Mitoma and/or another could be sold in the summer. We may reach Europe again - so we’ll need a big squad. Or we won’t reach Europe. Too many variables.

My hope is we reach Europe and recall Buonanotte as we need a bigger squad.

But am delighted to see him doing well at Leicester and the fans love him. If he plays well and helps keep you up in what is always a tricky first season back, it’s win win for all.

Buonanotte has impressed and looks a real talent but this thread needs to calm down a bit.  Talk of generational talents and £80m fees are very premature.  He might well get there but he is not there yet.

It has been said before, but the most impressive thing about him for me, is his commitment.
