The next morning with a more rationale and less emotional head, I still want Cooper gone.

His lack of in game management is horrendous to see, not a single one of his changes positively changed the game yet he could have done with the players (minus Bouba, he’s just a waste of a squad number).

Ayew could have sat up top next to Vardy and Bilal goes out wide as prime examples.

TalkSport this morning seemed to suggest any boo’s were OTT yet only use our league position as a reason for this, which is acceptable at 38 games in but offered zero insight into our actual football so far this season.

It’s getting irritating how much he tries to talk up performances

You was obviously not around when Pleat was here then.

His description of a game was nothing like what happened in the game. Made you wonder if you'd actually been to the right game.

TS will always belittle us and make comments like ‘Leicester fans are entitled’ without watching barely 10% of our games as they focus so much of their focus on the Top6.

Your point on ingame management is very valid. Nearly every game this season may have started with a tactical ‘game plan’ but by about 60 mins they’ve ended in a free for all desperately trying to salvage something out of a lost cause. Loss of shape, weird personnel, etc.

not once tonight did either Mavididi or Fatawu go on the outside - surely Cooper would have drilled that into them after it proved so successful in the previous game and knowing that Nuno keeps a very solid back line that’s hard to penetrate through the middle

i just feel like the longer we keep this bloke the longer we’ll be having the same moans on here.

dont get me wrong, some of our play was good at times last night but we have good players! Just wish we had a manager that knew how to get the best out of them

Well you got the team you all wanted and it was crap.

Come on anyone can select a team, you also have to factor in the tactical set up, individual instructions, set play organisation and also the team talk before and at half time, not withstanding in game management, so to anyone hanging their hat on the you got the team you wanted and look what happened, isnt looking at the full picture and is using it to deflect from the short comings of the manager and his coaching staff.

swap managers around from yesterday evening and we win that, the difference standard in coaching and tactical ability between Spaghetti and Nuno was clear to see and whilst we are at it did anyone see Coops post match interview, no reference to any tactical tweaks or adjustments they made that changed the flow of the game, just absolute waffle even my missus commented on it.

Truth is if the only pre-requisite to be LCFC manager is to be called Steve, be a nice guy and pick the best XI and just tell them to go out give it everything, enjoy themselves and see what happens, whilst making the odd sub, then the club know where I am and I will happily do it for a fraction of Coops wages and a 12 month rolling contract 😂

Pre season

Villarreal- They were better and we got lucky

Shrewsbury - We should’ve dominated and we didn’t, we were once again, lucky.

Palermo -Deservedly beaten, outplayed and didn’t look as fit as a side who sharted their pre-season AFTER us.

Augsburg- outplayed and deservedly lost against a poor Bundesliga team who had lost their best players.

Lens- we were pathetic, team with a budget and squad worse than ours completely outplayed and battered us.

Tottenham - first 55 mins was genuinely some of the most one sided football I’ve ever seen and Spurs should’ve been 5-6 Up. Extremely lucky to draw.

Fulham- pathetic. Just pathetic.

Tranmere- only game this season we have been the better side.

Villa- scared and pathetic

Palace- decent and then completely pants and manager single handily cost us 2 pts.

Everton- awful, lucky to draw.

Walsall- outplayed by a league two side. Lucky.

Arsenal- should’ve been 9-1 to Arsenal, not 4-2.

B’mouth- extremely lucky to win. Deserved to lose.

Southampton - equally as pathetic first half before a Southampton implosion and lucky win with a scuffed Ayew shot after Southampton missed chances WITH 10 MEN.

Forest- Utter crap, another unforgivable display that will live long in the memory.

Add all this to the leaked comments from JJ.

How on earth can ANYONE defend the clown and his staff.

GET HIM GONE.

When you put it like that…..

A total mismatch up against Nuno.

Nice bloke but he sort of continually talks about his own frailties.

He was never the manager we needed and it's going to get a lot worse until we get him out of the door.

I don't mind Cooper talking about his own failures. It shows he's aware and that there's some willingness to improve.

Rodgers was the opposite.

I don't hear other top managers doing it - He's too honest and too crap

I'm not gonna waste my energy this weekend with multiple posts about this but it's clear to see this appointment just won't work out. I guess it's just a matter of when he goes rather than if he can turn it around

As others have said he comes across as a good bloke. I want him to do well as it’s in the clubs best interests(at least short term).

For me, the biggest issue is the lack of a plan/identity. We switch from the high fullback to Ricky coming into midfield when we haven’t done that all season. We brought players on but there didn’t seem to be a plan of how those players were going to get us back into the game.

The 2 wins we have had have been very lucky, Bournemouth should have beaten us and Southampton was a great comeback but they should’ve had a penalty to make it 3-1(I think) and it was a scuffed finish to win it against 10 men.

The in game mistakes were not his fault but 1 shot on target at home but not even being defensively solid is unacceptable.

Just hoping to stay up with Cooper is an abomination, we won’t keep on fluking wins, we need a higher calibre manager in the short term and medium term.

That must have been painful but I've been to all of those games bar a couple and your analysis is spot on.

We've, by and large, been crap and lucky to have the points we've picked up and to still be in the cup.

Now is the time to offload him

He needs to be sacked now! Get him gone the last two wins were flukey in the extreme weren’t they? Bournemouth beat Arsenal after beating us what does that tell you? Okay Southampton are shit granted but they should have held on for the draw but having a man sent off went against them. If the board had an iota of football knowledge they would sack him now, but they don’t.

Just sack him! It was the daftest appointment in the club’s history, he’s shit.

He proved at Forest he wasn't shit, took them from bottom of the Championship to surviving in the Prem despite kamikaze squad building from above. We were always going to be limited with who we could get with a points deduction hanging over us, the England job on the horizon and the obvious first choice being hamstrung by his previous contract.

We've already got more points than many of his detractors predicted.

I think it's become obvious that most of our defenders are nowhere near good enough for the EPL regardless of who's in charge, TBH.  I think that all we've done is shown up the gap between the Championship and EPL, again...

Agree, also Ricky incredibly rusty, prob even a bit nervous having been left out completely so far. Fats does seem to struggle when starting, JJ is apt to misjudge an occasional vital clearance. But Forest are a premiership outfit and we're not quite there yet and it hurts to say that.
