Pep expecting the final outcome to be resolved within a month then

I guess that's our only hope now, they somehow get penalised with auto relegation (unlikely) meaning we would just have to finish above Ipswich (also unlikely)

What a grim grim season this has been and its not even finished yet

Who believes this performative shit?

I assume kids who grew up with it?, its all my nephew watches, thankfully when I'm there he wants to play football with me instead of watching it, i cant hack a minute of watching those videos.

Yeah i thought so but it’s what he said in his presser yesterday.

Also denied the reason of spending so much in the Jan window is because they already have an idea of the outcome regarding possible incoming transfer embargo

conveniently leaves out the stack of FA Cups they've won in the last 20 ish years

and Arsenal actually tried to do things properly when they built their new stadium, not overspending or juicing the league and then you see what happens.

Also during their years going for the title with Man Utd, Fergie used to chuck around £20m/£30m on new players where as Wenger never did that.

I have more admiration for Arsenal even if they don't have too much to show for it. But like you say the graphic misses out the FA Cup's.

I’ve no ill feeling toward Arsenal.

In fact, I find their fans / Arsenal TV quite funny at times.

They are a big club. To compare them to us is a little bit silly.

Wenger re-built them when he arrived in London and they became a force.

To put it into perspective, our more expensive signing ever is Youri Tielemans r at €45 . Arsenal paid that for Granite Xhaka in 2016 and he’s their 11th most expensive transfer ever.

Liverpool have Everton and Wolves next. What are the chances on them having their first wobble of the season in the next week.

Wolves at Anfield? Liverpool won't lose that. I highly doubt they'll lose the Merseyside Derby too. I would imagine, if anything, defeat against Plymouth has fired them up more.

A one off cup tie is so different to a regular league game.

And they will play the first team .

Great for Plymouth and they deserved to win but Liverpool’s team was a lot “weaker “ and the mindset crested by Slot was complacent/cocky as in they just needed to turn up and win .

Having said that Liverpool’s front 3 should have created much more .

I really hope so. I'm looking at the weekends fixtures and thinking, we dont have a chance BUT Wolves playing Liverpool should mean its same again.

I took a look at the fixtures to analyze how many games you could consider winnable that each club has left.

I’d say we have 6.

Ipswich have 8

wolves have 11

Southampton have 8

its a seriously uphill battle now and we are going to need to pick up unexpected points and hope the rivals slip up in their more winnable fixtures. If we by some miracle won the 6 “winnable” games youd imagine we’d survive. But reality is that best we could hope for is probably 4 wins … this season is dirt

We need to be in reach by April 26th.  Then we've got the relegation playoffs. Wolves, followed by Saints, Forest thrown in, then followed by Ipswich. 3 must win games if we're still in with a shot by then. 9 games before then. Might be asking too much.

We'll always have the shared moment of that St. Totteringham's day on the final day of 2015/16. lol

Can't agree beyond that though, something in the water in North London makes football fans there insufferable, perhaps it's a sense of entitlement that doesn't match in the slightest what either of them have achieved in the past two decades relative to their supposed size.

As a fanbase definitely the lesser of two evils. Though it feels like something has finally broken the Tottenham lot - there's an acceptance there now of just how bad they are, though hard to have any sympathy after a decade of delusion. lol
