I honestly think that when we have been confirmed as relegated 8n the next few weeks I honestly don't think we will be back in the premier league for around 10 years.

Atleast 23 of the 25 man squad we currently have need to be sold.

100% of the wage earners that are being paid more than 30Grand a week need to be sold at any price.

The protest should of been a violent one because nothing ever gets that way the board have slept walked the club into utter devastation.

Happy clappers will be happy thou as per. Still these ***** are biggest problem at the club and they need to be forced out.

It's going to be a very grim few years, no doubt. The quicker we gut the core of the club out, the sooner we have a chance to return. At the moment, we're staring into the abyss

I couldn't believe at the start of the season that Cooper had Ward on the bench. I felt physically sick. Particularly that a professional, competent Iversen was in the squad.

That Cooper decision led directly to the surreal, horrifying moment of Ward looking visibly shaken at having to come on at St James Park.

Which then, led to the catastrophic wall of silence - players, coaches, DoF - of not warning the Dutchman about the consequences of playing Ward v Wolves.

The butterfly effect eh of Cooper having a mid range national league player on the bench ....

Edit; there were genuine and realistic discussions on here about playing Faes or Vesty in goal ahead of Ward.

I would, hand on heart, no jokes or silliness here, prefer to see Jannik Vestergaard in goal for Leicester City, over Danny Ward.

Truly depressing at the moment.

It is, but I have a sense of apathy that I can only think is linked to the apathy and lack of effort on the pitch. I find it bizarre and not sure what’s going on. Among all the issues and crap, that is probably my biggest gripe with the clowns that have run us into the ground. They have almost killed my sense of pride and joy for the club.

We can relax now. It's done. Time to throw some academy players in.

I'm glad it's less likely it'll be happening at Forest.

You can't hold Cooper responsible for RVN's decision to play Ward against Wolves. That's all on RVN.

RVN was fully aware of how bad Ward was/is - having watched his United side stick 5 past him in the League Cup.

What constitutes a thrashing these days?

Minimum 8 inches and 30 minutes straight amiright ladies?

I'm the last one to defend the Dutchman. I've been pretty unequivocal that I despise the guy.

I agree; his own arrogance in not bothering due diligence led to the selection of Ward. But had Cooper selected Iversen as no 2 (as he should've), the Dutchman would've picked Iversen on the basis of his laziness / arrogance / lack of research

So it's Cooper's fault that RVN is lazy, arrogant and doesn't do any research?

The DoF should have told him Ward wasn’t up to it but he’s too meek. A vole of a man.

I think he Ruud should have been advised.

Poor by the club.

Nope. It was the butterfly effect of Cooper deciding inexplicably to have an amateur level keeper - one who singlehandedly had relegated us 16 months earlier - on the bench.

It’s completely irrelevant in the sense of staying up.
Even if by some miracle we win, the points gap is too large.

But hopefully you enjoy your journey.

You are 100% right.I was being a bit facetious.

I think the discussion on one of the podcasts that clarified for me that RVN is not a good manager, was regards the choice of Daka and Vardy in a front 2 instead of Facundo and one of the strikers, and it was doubly strange that daka was the one coming deep. Clearly RVN doesn't have a Scooby and we should off load asap and get in a manager that understands football management and more importantly how to build a squad

The only good aspect of the club is that we have a golden generation of academy players. Watch us line up with a new batch of PL rejects next season though rather than give our talent a chance.

I feel sorry for Iversen, we’ve completely ****ed his around for a decade and then refused to sell him when an offer came in

He’s genuinely a solid keeper too. Not PL level, but it’s absolutely baffling that he’s below Ward again.

Current BBC headline: Forest 'thrashing' Ipswich

Since when was 0-3 a thrashing?

I always think 3-0 is ‘eased’ to victory. Thrashed I’d say 4, or is that a big win but short of a thrashing? Maybe 5 then!

Butterfly effect lol. What nonsense.

RVN's a grown man capable of making his own decisions. As much as you want to, you can't blame Cooper for the decisions RVN makes.
