How did his car make it there in the first place? Wasn't the road closed off to roads?

Even if they have messed up his car, he swerves to hit a crowd of fans. ***** of the highest order.

The guy would probably be grateful to be arrested rather than dragged into the crowd and have goodness knows how many Scousers let loose on him.

Been speaking to folks who were there, and the crowd got a few solid digs at his shins in before the police arrested him. He'll be crawling around his cell tonight, don't you worry.

And so they shouldn't!

It's good they've released the info. Stop the speculation straight away and nip it in the bud...

It's mad how the same people who have spent a year blaming the government for last year's riots because they didn't give information about Rudakubana's ethnicity quickly enough are now having kittens because they've released this perpetrator's ethnicity on the same day. Almost as if they have other motives.

It’s the way of the world, or I think how desperate some people seem to be for these incidents, when they occur to be terror attacks so they feel vindicated in their “what are they doing in this country” tripe, only for them now to be disappointed that it’s not something that they can come out with.

Think people are annoyed that when it’s a white British male it’s released immediately but when it’s a Muslim immigrant the details are hidden from the public.

Southport attacker was a Welshman on his way to church tbf

If they're annoyed more about that than they are for people who got injured then perhaps they're part of the problem too...

There’s a reason for that. When the public don’t know quickly, it’s blamed on ethnicity, religion or country of origin and the worst type of racism comes out.  Like wise, when it is a minority group you get the same actions.

it’s politically sensitive and should be handled as such. It’s not an anti white agenda, just common sense to public reaction which when high on emotion brings out the worst

Why were they attacking the car to begin with?

Looking at the video he was trying to drive his car and as he was stop..starting slowly.. reversed abit when some started banging on his back windscreen. So in there frustration some started attacking his car. Looks like they were angry that he was trying to drive his car when there's people all around him

Good to hear that everyone’s survived, hoping those in hospital pull through.

Those videos were grim.

Yes small mercies and all that .

Hopefully all can recover well .

Pretty poor research to say that he “recaptured form in the championship”, geezer barely played under Maresca.

Strange list without Raheem Sterling, who got more yellow cards(1) than goals, or even shots on target in 17 abysmal appearances in the PL.  Several of those players including Zirkzee were more effective than him.

What a load of crap. I. mean, he's still not great but Coady only started to feature more later in the season and (in my opinion anyway) has been better than Faes or Vesty.  I mean, Édouard was utter pants in his 10 minute cameo and wont get a mention.

Yeah seen the video

Deffo doesn’t look like an accident

Looks like road rage kicked in. From the videos seen early he was honking the crowds to move out the way... some Liverpool fans appeared gesture towards reminding him theres a parade on. Suddenly he just goes full throttle... hits a few, stops and then turns then again full throttle hits a few more, the only reason i think he stops his because by this point his car is on top of some poor folk.

Just realised that we gave 6pts to everyone in the top 7 apart from Forest. That Buonanotte goal really did cost them.

Excellent.

To be fair it seems to be based on a minimum of 20 appearances which is still a bit harsh when you look at say Hirst with 649 mins to his name compared to Coadys 1713…. Either way he’s garbage

Lucky old Sterling then!  Coady at least scored an important goal for you guys this season.

I have said before and will say again that most Forest fans I have met honestly don't inherit the same footballing planet as most of us.

This is a fanbase who spent the 40th anniversary of the 1979 European Cup Final watching it on Betamax in the pubs of Nottingham, cheering as if it were live. Who genuinely consider European football to be their 'rightful place' despite only having to use their passports for family holidays for the last three decades. Who will argue without a hint of irony that they are a bigger club than Arsenal and Manchester City because of their success forty-five years ago.

It's a delusion that has made 'Nottingham Forest manager' an impossible job for thirty years. Anyone who cannot take them to the levels their fans think they're entitled to, and there is not a person alive who can in 2025, will be considered a disappointment, a failure and a let-down. They will always expect to rule Europe again. As soon as it becomes clear that isn't happening, they'll get rid. They may cheer someone on who gets them a step closer, but will turn on them once they hit their ceiling. It happened with Cooper, it'll happen with Nuno (arguably already started) and it'll happen with every single one of his successors. It's like the England job at club level, except England could conceivably win a major international trophy while Forest's days of competing at the top table will almost certainly never return.

A normal fanbase would be rejoicing at a trajectory of 17th to 7th. Forest fans feel entitled to top five at least. They'll turn on Nuno in double quick time when they're back in midtable next season, and Marinakis will join them. Impossible club to manage because of their ancient history and the delusion it's brought their fans.

To be fair, they seemed fiercely loyal to Cooper in the main. The entitlement label which is often attached to ourselves may well have some truth to it, as a standalone point, but it doesn't hold up in terms of what has unfolded at the club in recent years.

Most important thing is all who got attacked and injured seem to be ok thankfully .

A miracle there were no deaths .

Usual speculation over was he drunk or went the wrong way and panicked but sure we will find out the full facts .
