Absolutely needs to play. I know he's not been all that and can be a bit safe, but he's so much more tenacious and aggressive than the others. When he has the opportunity he will play forward or drive up the pitch.

Just PL cast offs. Coady, Skipp, Ayew, Reid all 🤢 even most fans were not interested at the point they were just rumours

He'll go to a promoted team for £6m or so in the summer, or be stuck with us as a 3rd/4th choice at best

A bit like with the Winks signing, i thought it might be a case of us unfairly maligning a player in advance of actually seeing him, but he looks like a total nothing player so far, and I'm not just using today to judge that either. Was expecting him to be safe but limited on the ball, which he is, but off the ball he is orders of magnitude worse than I thought he would be.

It's the transfer fee that's the main problem. You can't have all the PSR issues we have had, and then pay £20 for skipp. El khannouss, yes, but not skipp.
