Many spurs fans liked skipp and they are the most difficult bunch to please.

He's decent in a functioning team which we ain't.

My spurs mate has been taking the piss all season.

He’s a cnut tbf

He’s starting to look a worse signing than Silva. It was indefensible at the time but some on here were happy lol

Signing fee and wages across a 5 year contract assuming £50k a week (could well be more than that) - £38 million pounds.

I’d guess he’d be on more than that. Probably on £40k+ at Spurs.

I’m adamant he’ll go down as one of our worst ever signings in terms of outlay / output. A total waste of money.

Don't worry lads, when we go down we'll get £40mill for Bilal and it'll be like we got Skipp for free.

We most certainly will not get 40 million for Bilal

What? Versus Ward????? Do is a favour

Ward has directly and indirectly cost us (albeit not his fault) hundreds of millions of pounds

I think that is mostly down to the numptys who picked him.

Ward is still a much worse signing. If we sold Skipp tomorrow at a loss, it would still generate some money back. Ward will be leaving for free and was still £12m. Plus Skipp could be decent in the Championship if we haven't ruined his career by then, whereas Ward was still 3rd choice at that level and did nothing to help us bounce back.

Ward is, without a doubt, the most costly signing we’ve ever made.

Watching MotD last night and Fulham's highlighted top player Sander Berge cost the same as this bloke.  Performances were light years apart.

Why do we consistently throw big money down the toilet for dross?

I didn’t say he was or wasn’t. But whilst we are comparing them we will lose the £12 m fee for him and I can see us losing just as much on skipps purchase price. That money could have been spent elsewhere on a player(s) who could have helped keep us up in the relegation battle. There is a lot in common here with regards to the impact of not buying wisely. The real blame lies with management.
