This is Coopers first team, he has backing for free this time. Regarding Ricardo, he has not been at his best like everyone else in pre-season, so we have to trust he is picking the best XI based on what he see’s. Not interested in picking on historic form at all.

I know it’s easy to call out the manager but he seems to make so many decisions that can make you go right off him.

 

1) Ricardo was identified by Enzo as one of our most important and technically competent players - Cooper benches him

 

2) Soumare and Hamza on the bench but no Alves when we’ve had a week with Buonanotte and no other AM’s in the 18.

 

3) The Okoli signing when can’t dislodge Jannik seems even more random.

Can only imagine he thinks Reid will be better playing the role he's tried Mav in preseason with VK playing high.

And with Vardy to start also probably wants Mav as the option of his sub over Cannon.

I KNEW something was up with the Vardy situation. I said on here I felt Cooper was being cagey about the injury, I assumed it was worse than he was letting on. Turns out, he's just a a wee sneek.

Viktor Kristiansen needs to show a hell of a lot more quality tonight than what I’ve seen so far. Sometimes feel like his work rate masks his lack of ability…over to you Vik
