When their player went down under ayew's challenge and was treated why didn't he have to go off the pitch?

If a player is booked and opponent needs treatment injured player does not have to go off.

It was a surprise to actually see that happen today as the rule has been in for multiple years now and very rarely happens

This NEVER happens though.

Correct law/rule of the game but they're always made to go off.

Another poor ref today. Must have been gutted he didn't fulfill his bosses brief of not letting us have any points.

Didn't go back and book a player for the shirt pull on wilf, and then that handball 😒

Senesi should have been off. A clear shirt pull but the game played on for about two minutes before the ball went dead. Ref forgot about it.

Fifteen minutes later he hacked Fatawu down to finally get his yellow

It's on the NBC highlights

3.45mins

You'll need a USA VPN to view.

Anyone else find it suspicious that no highlights show the handball? Not even MOTD

MotD wanted to make sure they showed every Bournemouth chance so they had a hard luck story to tell. No time for owt else.

He should have been booked in the first half as well when he pulled Ayew back.

And you won so they won't see it as a key incident compared to the Palace penalty claim.

His closeness is debateable considering there's another Bournemouth player in between sticking his leg up,

Zabarnyi is 6 or 7 feet away from Stephy which I think is on the fringe of "too close to react in time", but given Smith (#15) is closer and anticipating the ball has his arms by his side, for me that sways it into a justifiable penalty

that handball gets worse every time i see it, given the fact theres already been ones like that given this season already

we shouldnt be surprised tho, after the PSR/FFP stuff against the premier league, can expect it this season, we do seem to have had a stupid amount of decisions go against us already tbf

Not sure what the QR Code on the big screen was for with the announcement that VAR check was complete. Perhaps we were supposed to scan it for the line images
