Not booking kovacic for 2 cynical fouls, not booking Mcatee for taking out Soumare, allowed continuous time wasting.

Unsure on either pen so won't hold that against him yet.

Add Soumare getting taken out and not booking the player for a yellow & delaying his return to the pitch.

Blatant shirt pull on Soumare by Foden not booked either.

Oliver is 🔔 end

Knew there was something else I’d missed, Soumare needed treatment from it didn’t he.

In the second half Coady on the ball gets held by Haaland as he’s trying to move, ball ends up going out of play and despite being in front of the linesman, neither he nor the ref gave us a freekick. That combined with the booking of Soumare and especially of El Khanouss compared to the non booking of KDB and McAtee show a classic case of the unconscious bias trap that most refs fall for.

Not the first time Man City have come here and got away with persistent niggly fouls - Fernandinho used to be a master at it. Not the only club that seem to benefit against us but defo get the rub of the green more than most. Weak from Oliver as per

Was Vardy offside? because it was a blatant penalty! I thought they were meant to play on and check it afterwards, but it seems they were set on the linesman's decision straight away

absolutely wiped out by de Bruyne who should have already been on a booking for a dive that Tom Daley would be proud of. How he came away from two nailed on yellow cards without even a talking to is absurd. Weak referee who let man city walk all over him

We should of taken the pts deduction. We may then have gotten a little sympathy.

Instead we take on the prem make them look silly. So now they are making us pay all the way to the jaws of the EFL.

Then watch them rip us a new one. Get used to it. This is nothing yet.

How annoying for the Premier League then when Anthony Taylor decided to flout the master plan by failing to penalise Jordan Ayew for the fifteen yard tow off Paul Onuachu's shirt into the penalty area.

Get out of here with your dumb, f***wit conspiracy theory.

Can't really complain about time wasting when at 0-0, we were taking about 15 minutes to take goal kicks.

There's always going to be bits and bobs but generally, thought the ref wasn't too bad yesterday, albeit against a very low bar.

I didn’t think he was too bad yesterday.

Vardy was definitely offside when Ortega wiped him out.

KDB should have been booked for a dive.

Buonanotte should have been booked for a dive.

El Khannous was late on Lewis, despite the fact he tried to pull out. He still went through him.

Not every foul is a yellow card. The niggles here and there happen. We do them as well.

Can't argue with most of what you've said here. For me, the frustration was similar things not being penalised equally.

Soumare probably did deserve his booking from his few fouls, but then Kovacic has done similar tackles in similar areas and left unpunished. If Bhilal was late on Lewis, Mcatee on Soumare was equally as late, if not later, and went without a booking.

If the official is calling these fouls that's fine, it just needs to be consistently done
