Heard he has a clause that when he plays another 5 games in premier league it triggers a 4 year extension for Vesty and a statue of Soumare has to be built.
 Don’t shoot the messenger

nah, just use the one that keeps getting in the team:brendan:

Why would he do that? He is damaging his only future prospects as much as ours. :dunno:
Just think he prefers JJ ‘ruggedness’ compared to Ricky.

Both sick notes, so it must a fairly marginal decision.

Even tho I think JJ is amazing at times and Victor is growing huge Cahonas every game he plays I think Blooper should play Ricardo more often even if it is JJ one game Ricardo the other, I just think Blooper doesn’t know his best starting 11 is he is benching the players who should be starting if not subbing them on much earlier than 80+ minutes into the game.

But even tho I think Vardy is a god amongst PL players he just can’t continue to keep going game after game for 80min plus to me he now is an amazing impact sub who should be bought on after 60min play to chase a game of tired opposition defence that now is where his more lethal, Blooper Cooper hasn’t a clue how to play this squad of quality players Bilal Ricardo Fatwu etc he just hasn’t a clue who to put in but his usual dross of Soumare  who looks like a rabbit in headlights he hasn’t a clue he just meanders about like an ogre on a bridge !

The sooner Rudkin Top and the rest of this bloody board find out that Cooper is not the right man it will be far too late and it’ll be back to the Fuchers in the EFL who can’t wait to Fuch us over with deductions and transfer bans, time for a change now Rudders time to get rid of Forests spy who’s going to take us down if he stays much longer time to get a Potter or Corberan in before it’s far too FUCHING late !!

More versatile? Are we talking about the same player that can play right back, left back, right wing back, left wing back, right wing, in the 6 and in the 8?

Exactly what part about "rightly of wrongly" did you not understand ?  my point was just that's his opinion and choice and its just tactical and to come to conclusion it is a bust up or mystery is hysterical

Truly woeful last night like the rest of the team, the amount of times he gave away the ball in midfield was criminal, I get that he is rusty and should have had more minutes but I do not want us use an inverted full back again as we are nowhere near good enough in possession and it leaves us criminally exposed when we lose possession down our right side.

I feel for him, no one is denying he had a poor game, but at least there are some mitigating circumstances to not completely lambast him like Faes or JJ.

Not had a kick in the premier league and being asked to play a role we haven't even attempted all season against a great winger in CHO. There is of course a chance he's just not the player he was and given his injury history it would not be a shock, but I don't think last night can represent a fair judgement.

Anyone who saw him play against Tranmere & Walsall, will know he's far from the Ricky of old. He was awful yesterday, obviously not alone. He was ok in the Championship, but he's not Premier league quality anymore. It's easy to see why Cooper hasn't been picking him.

I have long been an admirer of Pereira and hope he can regain some form.

I don’t really know what game some fans watched, but in the one I watched Ricardo was ok. We have to remember crucially that the team did not play like they did this season at all, and this was under a coach which did not teach the inverted full back system (that was Enzo), and they probably didn’t have much practice, and who knows if Cooper actually knew how to train the team in doing this (his instructions might have been: just do what Enzo told you to do last season, to the best of what you can recall). And Ricardo did ok. He started the move that led to our first goal. We were the better team in the first half. Then 3 silly mistakes (not by him) and he had to be sacrificed. We were ok on the right side defensively. It was JJ’s left side that Forest smoked us.

Just because we lost we don’t need to go all negative on Ricardo. Many fans were saying he was our best player. Then the comments above and elsewhere in the Forest related threads - crazy and I really don’t understand.

I thought he looked decent for us in the middle with that partnership with Winks in the first half

He did struggle against Hudson-Odoi though and then the Forest tactical change in the 2nd half meant neither him or Winks could really do any of that good interplay again

I knew people would jump on him and say “no wonder he isn’t starting” haha. He has been out for 2 months, he will be rusty and came in to a team where everyone had a shocker. He is our best fullback and when match fit he will prove. Just hope he is allowed to get there.

It's not quite as much of a mystery anymore, is it?

Yeah there's no way he should be getting minutes ahead of the utterly imperious James Justin who hasn't put a foot wrong all season

Still not been as bad as consistently as JJ has been for us this season

He's not played as often.

Maybe we should wait until they have played the same amount of football this season to see whether it was a poor decision to persist with JJ for so long then?

Because so far although Ricardo has played poorly, JJ was worse.
