Been championing this for weeks.

Faes - Vestergaard - Okoli

Fatawu - Winks - Soumare - Kristensen

Vardy, Buenanotte and one from Bilal, Mavididi and Ayew

Why?!?

I thought today and the League cup game proved that he offers so little.

His role against a tired, 10 man Ipswich for the goal was top stuff but his overall game is so lacking, his inclusion hurts my brain.

Best option in that system. With three centre backs and two wing backs, you’d be effectively be playing a back 7 with Ndidi or Skipp in there. Thought Bouba was one of our better players today

Currently in Helsinki with his girlfriend...

Probably waiting for Steve Cooper to be sacked then magically appears to have no injury :D

Oh no. Feel so sorry for the guy.

He used to be invincible, until his knee injury caused by Grealish. Then he was rushed back too early by Rodgers. He was never the same again. Lost his prime years to injuries and for us.

It’s sad for injuries can do. He’s never been the same since that first ACL. He’d have played for one of the top European clubs for years if he hadn’t got that injury. Goes to show the level of elite sport that 9 months out of action and that level was never reached again.

Unfortunately  injuries have beat him

he's done here.Thats why he hasn't been picked.## LCFC obvious.

Steve Cooper's a twat for not picking a

Crippled player?

Obvious? He played more-or-less every game last year.

I think if we are honest the system Enzo had him playing in probably prolonged him and gave us one last season with him and let's be thankful that happened.

I think any talk of him coming back is now over. Neither him or Justin ever came back the same player they were and we need to replace both as soon as we can.

If anyone thinks we are getting either to play up and down the line as a traditional right back and capable Premier League player again then you need your head testing.

I’d rather see us go 3 centre halves and play Abdul as a RWB.

It's a matter of time I think. Our centre halves are atrocious. It feels like the obvious solution.

Was a few times against Forest where I thought he's just well off the pace at this level now. Was beaten to things he shouldn't have been. It's such a shame because without injuries you're looking at a really top player.

Oh for sure. For both of them it applies. Could easily be a scenario where Ricardo went to one of the best clubs in the world and Justin featured regularly for England.

Bring back Brandon Cover…

Joe Wormleighton looked close to ready for a shot in the first team 2 years ago; has he gone downhill from then?

Is it just me or does 4 months out with a Hamstring tear not immediately scream "Jump on the first plane out of here and walk around a cold city"?

Also anyone who has done it before, is that not a rest up and use crutches type situation?

The other bit I found odd was in the pre match conference, absolutely nothing on either injury and then matchday comes and they're both out for a while. That's one hell of an unlucky Saturday training session....

What concerned me most was this comment from cooper:

“That’s a blow, especially for him

Why not, “for us?”

Sounds to me like a grade 3 which sometimes would require surgery. He could be there to see a specialist / to have surgery.

Cooper has all ways played down injuries to the press, its been mentioned a few times.
