going to this with my 7 year old,  after seeing 2 draws and 1 loss at home, i really hope we get a win to keep him interested otherwise he will end up supporting the red florist scum.....

You can't let that happen whatever the result. He's only 7, get him the merchandise, tell him all about 2016, the '21 Cup Final. Mind games. It's good parenting

I just want to see us have a go from the start, not once we’ve gone behind. Team selections are all well and good, but if we’re cautious again and let them take the initiative, we ain’t winning no matter what the team is.
Just give us a chance, Cooper. You might be surprised.

Hard to see past a draw. We either score first and drop off till the inevitable equaliser, or we concede first and the players abandon the "match plan" and we find a way to score.

Need a win else the bad momentum will keep the pressure on.

A realistic gauge of how our season will pan out.

Which manager do you realistically think we can afford to get to replace Cooper? I think most of you are deluded.

KPFC loyalist I take it

Same team, same mistakes, same tactics and in game management.

I’m expecting him to drop Skipp or Buonanotte to shoehorn Ndidi and Ayew up top.

JJ & VK will be constantly out of position leaving space for crosses to come in.

If he plays an attacking team from the start with Winks or Skipp getting ball forward quickly for Mav/Fac/Fatawu then we can get something from this.

Crap VK played well against Saka Saturday.  JJ was at fault for two goals.  Yes, he scored two great goals, but 3rd goal he lost Trossard at the back post, 4th he passed it back albeit he was lunging in in order to clear it.

You're dropping Wilf? He's been one of our best players so far this season. I'd drop Winks before Wilf.

Winks has been off his game for a long while now, his first 3-4 months in a blue shirt was amazing, nobody could get near him, his standards in the final 15-20 games of last season dropped massively and the step up in class this season has caught him out multiple times.

In those first few months of signing for us I was so surprised that no prem teams really wanted him, at this point I can see quite a few flaws in his game and he switches off easily, Skipp looks the superior player this season!

People often target this game as one we should win, never really works out like that. Bournemouth seem to be a bit of a bogey time for us. I do really rate some of their players though - Zabarnyi and Senesi is definitely a partnership I'd pick over Okoli and Faes any day. That said, we need to want this more than they do. We need a 90 minute performance - not just 45. It’s the same story every week with sluggish first halves. No matter who starts, we need a complete performance. We've not seen one under Cooper yet

I'm an absolute doom monger at the moment in that people will expect us a) to put in a much better performance and b) win this one

I think they are going to be very disappointed

I'm expecting this one to be a real reality check for all of our fans as the total clueless nature of our manager fully dawns on some.

Just take the handbrake off and let them play. Surely he must realise that this current approach isn't the way forward

he doesn't though, because to him this is the way forward because we're not losing many, and the ones we do he can blame the ref for

To be honest, at this point in time, most of us would settle for a 45 minute performance.

I can see a scrappy  2 -1 win, Cooper stays in post, then the next few games we manage a couple of fortunate draws. I almost hope we lose about 3 - 0, so we get rid of this clown.

I think being in the bottom 3 tonight will wake up the fanbase, or perhaps if Bournemouth go 5 points clear of us by being Southampton! We won't beat Bournemouth at best it will be a draw.

Winks' form is a problem. Ndidi is no good as a sitting DM anymore so we don't have anyone else to sit alongside Skipp at the base of the midfield. Ricardo can do it as the inverted full back but seems pretty clear Cooper won't do that. For that reason I think he probably sticks with Winks for now.
