Isn't this where we all blame the manager & the player's definitely aren't to blame one iota ?

I think it's just been proven that tonights line-up was less Pep-like tactical intelligence, and more like keeping all the talented mifielders happy!

The trouble is that one obvious contender in Klopp already has a job and another, Tuchel, is another Man United defeat from having one as well.

Do the FA stick with Carsley permanently, which would look like a mistake on this basis, find another manager who's ready to go now or pay Pep a king's ransom once he leaves Man City and keep Carsley in post for another few months?

You're right...#cooperout

But to be fair, the setup is all wrong. Not having a striker is criminal when you have 2 in form on the bench!

Definitely. But that defending (for the goal) was like watching 6 year olds, all running towards the ball, that can't be on Carsley.

This lot don't need coaching, they're all coached by elite managers as it is. National coaches just implement a system (which player's should be able to adapt to easily....how many are there ?), pick a team & make substitutions ! We could do that......

Keep Carsley in post until May and we'll be favourites to win next season's Nations League Tier 3!

That's the conundrum, isn't it? Do they get a manager who's available now but might not be exactly who they want or risk waiting until May?
