It's what happens when the Coach picks all the fans favourites and tries to stick all the so-called creative players in the side. Lesson there for all those Leicester fans that keep selecting sides in this Forum that would probably do the same thing.

I know we lost but it was nice to actually watch and England game that wasn't 7 defenders passing the ball between them for 80 minutes. Entertaining game that was.

Drop the god damn inverted full backs and we'd probably be able to create a hell of a lot more. Would also mean we don't get done 3 on 2 on the transition over and over again lol

Was literally what I was thinking. The tactic that can be outdone by launching balls into the channels

TBF Cooper's selections are the complete opposite.

Carsley not up to it in a meaningless tournament. Surely he won't be full time manager

He has real Stowell and Sadler vibes about him. There's little to nothing there that whispers, let alone screams, England manager.

I imagine the urgency in getting the right man in has risen at the FA now.

The one turn off for me wasn't on the pitch, but when he did a Brendan Rodgers clap after going down 2-0 (before being saved by VAR)

Proper wrong'un behaviour!

Biggest Greek victory since the IMF bailout

Or the Persian Wars. A stunning upset against a technically superior but complacent and tactically-poor opposition led by a man who couldn't match the achievements of his predecessor.

This England team in the future will be inevitably get humiliated by a scoreline of 9 or 10-0. Carsley isn't a football manager. It's like putting me in charge of a NASA space program. Pickford isn't a GK. That guy can barely walk straight, when the ball is on his feet he shakes and spins like a CAT 5 hurricane. The whole team is a disjointed mess of primadonnas. The only player trying with some passion is Bellingham and this is because he plays in a league where if you don't make an effort you get a visit by the team fans.

He's BR 2.0. He doesn't have a notepad, he has a tablet.

It was terrible wasn’t it. No focal point. No one looked like they knew what they were doing. All looked a very bit desperate in the final third.

Very fitting that Greece won for Baldock, I never want England to lose but in this instance, I’m happy that Greece have won and even though this sounds daft considering the occasion some things are bigger than football.

Not sure how we only lost by 1 Greece should have had at least another 5. Good for them good performance, but England, wow that was possibly the worst I have seen in a very long time. It was like watching a Sunday league game, no organisation, no one working as a unit. Just a disaster it was pure comedy at times

Just now on 5live they said fans wanted to see all the top attacking players play and well this is what they got.

Shame that the US have got Pochettino.

Hope it's not someone like Mourinho.

I was no Southgate fan at all but I think there was a lot of rubbish written about Carsley's first two games - I don't think you could really aim not beating teams like Ireland and Finland comfortably at Southgate. That tonight is a huge reality check, and a complete embarrassment that England probably won't top this group either.

Fair play to Greece. Always got something about them even when they aren't much good.

And all that comes down to is their pride and passion of playing for their country.
