Not seen the game but unfortunately  doesn't seem to have been that in reality..

Greece always a tough side to crack, but certainly expected more from it.

Rico Lewis gets nowhere near this England team if he's not at Man City.

Foden does nothing for me. I think he’s alright for Man City but never turns up for England.

We won the xG battle 0.86-0.65 and that's the most important thing, right?

Get those stats out

Not even about the result.

That's one of the most catastrophic performances I've ever seen from England.

Greece, GREECE, should have smashed us by 6 or 7.

Carsley shouldn't even be given the game against Finand in midweek.

Yes sometimes you cannot just field all the best players and do need to find a balance in team selection otherwise you get results like tonight.

I mean technically only one of us has been European champions. No shame in losing to a country with football heritage like Theo Zagorakis and Nikos Dabizas.

The fact he hasn't yet been given the job, when he could easily have done after a decent display in Dublin, speaks volumes.

The FA didn't fancy him then and clearly won't now.

The question is whether they appoint Tuchel now before Man United do or sign a pre-contract agreement with Pep.

xG is great for digging into a team's direction of travel / general play over a period of time, it's handy to know if Team X's style is sustainable etc. It's useful for forecasting. It's not a like for like substitution for the actual result.

Can't believe how many black and white telly owners there are on here man.

I know we lost but it was nice to actually watch and England game that wasn't 7 defenders passing the ball between them for 80 minutes. Entertaining game that was.

Drop the god damn inverted full backs and we'd probably be able to create a hell of a lot more. Would also mean we don't get done 3 on 2 on the transition over and over again lol
