Initial team selection way too defensive and nearly cost us big time. 3 at the back was a massive improvement  and Fatawu substitution was a game changer. Why oh why doesnt he ever start with mavididi on left, facundu b in the 10 and abdul on the right? Is it really that complicated????

And don't even get me started on Ricci P and Harry..... Cooper is lucky not to be out of a job tonight. Good result in the end City! 👏

I know I'm sad but couldn't help a little browse on the saints forum. General consensus is

-they hate Vardy

-they hate the ref

-they hate var

-they want Martin sacked

-most of them actually think we have a better team than them.

Made me laugh however how they keep comparing their penalty shout with ours. Absolutely no difference in pulling a player back preventing them from scoring a goal than a shirt tug nowhere near the ball. Exactly the same 🤣

For terrible positioning and getting skinned?

You absolutely can drop defenders for that.

Or he could mitigate it by playing Fatawu ahead of JJ, because Abdul's work rate and defensive cover is pretty good.

Then you will be rotating the squad, if you dropping players every time they get skinned.

Good you acknowledge whoever is in front might affect the defensive results.

Cooper's desperate roll of the dice should be his starting choice from now on.

Fatawu starts. JJ needs to sit a few out so we stop haemorrhaging goals down that side.

Feels like we only won because we were so desperately shît that he was forced to change his system.

So what you're saying is, this place was wrong to demand he should bench Ayew

That was one of the best refereeing performances I’ve ever seen. I think both sets of fans will be more than satisfied.

Nah I think we would have been fuming by some of the decisions that went against them. Also he seemed a bit light with the yellow cards in the first half.

2-2 against 10 and a Big Six opponent, and there's no way we're getting eight minutes of added time.

Surely now we give Cooper some credit, subs bang on

He'll get that fully when Ricardo is back in his rightful place.

Credit for dropping winks, credit for the subs, credit for giving Bilal game time but we need that final piece so we can at the very least say we've started our strongest 11.

Credit for dropping winks,

I really don't get this winks stuff. He isn't faultless but we are far better team when he's on the pitch. Him,.Skipp and Wilf are three very very decent PL players who are hard work for any opponent to handle/better in the league

Serious these are the games we need to win plus everton palace etc and we will be ok.JJ didnt do a lot wrong you have to show your man outside and not foul if possible.8/9 wins and a few draws will do the job this time

JJ is gonna get the blame for both for letting the crosses come in too easily but on the second, what the hell is VK doing? Faes has come across to address JJ being beaten, Okoli has followed Archer to cover that run and VK just stands watching Aribo get the freedom of Hampshire to slot in.

Them get done three times in a row with pretty much the same set of players. 😂

I think he’s stuck because on the first he actually covers as Okoli’s position is a bit off. So second time, he’s ended up in mid-drift thinking of the first goal.

It’s very 5/10 defending

Watched the first half an hour in a turkish bar, soon as the second went in for Soton finished my drink and left expecting the worse. Headed back to the beach, 30 minutes later passed another bar seen it was 1-2, seen Vardy slot away the pen stuck around to see the winner, the only person in the bar celebrating the winner lol. Things I do for leicester lol

Weirdly the last time i was abroad in Benidorm, i seen Leicester batter away at Southampton 4-1 last year.

Superb win.

When the fixtures came out this was one of the runs of games I thought we need to pick up wins in. Because equally, there are full months where we could get no points.

(h) Bournemouth WIN

(a) Southampton WIN

(h) Forest

(a) Ipswich

We definitely rode our luck against Bournemouth and from the highlights today was a ding-dong that could have ended 5-5. But you can't argue with the results.

Now for 4/6 points from the next two games, please!
