That's what they did with Rodgers who had twice the squad.

So you think because they waited last time and we eventually got relegated they'll do the exact same? If anything does that not prove my point?

We were sinking like the Titanic with BR while our board was playing Chopin compositions despite us calling for a sack. What makes you believe things have changed now?

Because we got relegated?

I'm just saying they've got precedent for doing daft stuff. I'm not sure demonstrable evidence they've done the contrary to your point....proves your point?

I think Rodgers realised from day one that Rudkin and the rest were all absolute chancers who'd got to where they were by blagging it. This allowed him to come in and dictate the show. He was from Liverpool and Celtic and they were in awe of him. Probably charmed the pants off Susan as well.

He was basically unsackable until they absolutely panicked and realised actually all of the shit coming out his mouth wasn't true and we were gonna get relegated.

None of this is applicable to Cooper in the slightest. I actually think they were ready to sack him before the Southampton game. I don't think he'd have survived losing that 2-0.

If you're right and they do wait too long and we go down then they deserve everything they get. None of them will ever get a job at another club anyway. They'll probably just retire and leave us in a worse state than before Vichai arrived.

Need to focus on the positives here. We are capable at times and we are playing a side nervous to get a first win. They will attack for sure and we need to exploit the space they may leave on the break winning it high up the pitch.

Don't want to see our full backs galavanting at all and none of this inverted crap either. Just do your job and help the two CB out.

Would play Ayew central behind Vardy to hold the ball up and win the ball back high with Facundo and Mavididi to the side of him.

Okoli and Justin need a rest so Vesty and VK to return if fit.

We need to realise that a win gets us amongst the pack heading for midtable and 12 points from 10 games is decent ratio if we can carry that on in the next 10 games.

                        Mads

     Ricardo   Faes    Vesty     VK

                Ndidi       Winks

        Facundo   Ayew   Mavididi

                        Vardy

Literally one game ago this forum was crying out for it.

Basically, you are calling out for the most defensive side we could put out.

In a game we really cant afford to lose a point away wouldn't be the worst result.  We simply cant lose this game.  As someone alluded too Ipswich have to win.  They will leave gaps when they attack their defence like ours is not the best if we can keep Delap, Szomidcs, HIRST {for gawds sake) quiet we may get something.

I reckon our team confidence will have taken a hit over the last week, conceding 8 goals, 5 of them probably cos of our own stupid mistakes, can only spread even more nervous energy through the team and supporters.

So I really fear this game, I don't see us conceding less than 2 goals and quite possibly 3, so we'll have to hope we have our shooting boots on and maybe we'll get a draw, since they can be flaky at the back too.

But I think it'll be more likely 2-1 or 3-1 to them (or worse). Cos we have some major issues trying to keep the ball out of our net right now.

But this was largely the rationale behind Coopers selection before hand. So we are now saying he was right and those of us wanting more attacking or progressive football are wrong?

There was nothing wrong with the inverted role in the 1st half against Forest - it worked well. What happened was Cooper was completely incapable of adapting to Forests changes until it all went horribly wrong. This is why i don't like the inverted stuff being referred to as 'nonsense' - it isn't. But it does need a manager that can coach it and adapt it in game.

And for the record, a side with Winks, Ndidi and Ayew against Ipswich. Horrible.

No, I asked if there was a problem.
