Last week Ipswich were missing Greaves, Tuanzebe, Johnson, Morsy, Luongo, Taylor and Hutchinson. Clarke got sent off against Brentford and Ogbene got injured during the game, now out for the season. Delap and O'Shea playing with knocks according to their manager. I'd say it's a good time to play them.

As far as I'm aware Morsey, Greaves, Tuanzebe, Hutchinson are all out.

Clarke was sent off at Brentford last week but I think that was his first game this season.

Morsy & Hutchinson both passed fit

Big weekend at the bottom of the table with the set of fixtures, bottom 6 playing each other.

Ipswich vs Leicester

Southampton vs Everton

Wolves vs Crystal Palace

You'd have to think it must win for all the home teams.

Hopefully us to beat Ipswich.

I'd expect Everton to beat Southampton

Wolves to beat Palace at home

A win on Saturday and onto double figures after 10 games, most of us probably would have been happy with that at the start of the season. Hopefully with a bit of a gap to the bottom 3

Been thinking about the 1994/95 season - 30 years ago in actual fact - when we finished bottom and were obviously relegated, I think Leicester came down with us back then, it's a season many of us at Portman Road do well to try to forget.   Although there were a handful of outstanding results for us that season.

Point being, things this time around seem to heading in a similar direction at least for ourselves.    McKenna has done wonders for us, it's hard to say a bad word against him, but really, nine games in and we've yet to win a game.    There's something obviously going wrong or not working at it should.

We're not a bad team, really.   So we haven't won a game this stage of the season.    Neutrals and other clubs will look at us and instantly opinion we're garbage and heading for an instant return to second league level - that's not quite the case.     The effort and enthusiasm is often there but the defence and an often suspect goalkeeper in Muric simply hold us back and let opposition teams in to take advantage of these certain weaknesses.

Smodzics after all the trouble of bringing in from Blackburn doesn't always start when he should, other pivotal names like Hirst and Chaplin are sometimes left on the bench when they're game ready and should be involved from the start.    Delap is proving something of a saviour but it's going to take far more than one gifted individual to bring us results or even keep the team up this season.

McKenna will start us off  4-2-3-1   (but sssssh, whisper it quietly, it's a secret - we don't want to surprise anyone with our formations..)

We completely dominated these twice last season before blowing it late on twice, so you’d think a similar approach to the game must be applied.

There is a difference from last season ……

I don't think we'll leave it so late to blow it though.  I reckon it'll be done by half time.

Sweepstakes of how many fouls Morsy will make without being sent off? I'm going 7.

He should get sent off virtually every match. But it’s like refs give him a free-pass just because he’s a bit chubby and slow ….. like somehow that explains away the 59 fouls he commits each half. 🤷

I think you are were you should be, and we are overachieving.  I admire McKenna a lot, and i like that he stuck with largely the same approach that made you somewhat overachieve in the Championship. It was always an approach that was going to be tough to emulate in the PL, but he's not reverted to an overly defensive system.   I think you are good for a result tomorrow, as our confidence is shot all of a sudden and we are leaking goals something silly.

really not confident about this one especially after our performance against Forrest.

It’s the defence and shape of the team that worries me and think Ipswich will find a way to win.

I’ve been supportive of Cooper only because I believe he will get results on occasions and  clinging to the hope that he will get us 4th bottom end of season but lose tomorrow and I think I’ll join the get rid of him contingent.

A win though and I’ll be giving him utmost respect.

🙏🙏🙏 Please God

We did. And if I remember rightly you hammered us 4-1 at Portman Road. Chris Kiyomya ran riot!

Today could be your lucky day.   We may just have the answer to your prayers...

Omari had a bug and is ok. Think Johnson is ok.  Don't miss Morsy in fairness with Cajuste there. Delap and O'Shea good to roll
Out of interest, given the lack of difference between us last season why are so many of your fans so arrogant about a win? We have played mainly top six clubs and it's been marginal. I expect a good game, one we will shave being at home

Did you??  I was at both games and I'd suggest complete domination is somewhat keen

My one and only visit to Portman Road. Too scarred by the memory to go back.

Me too, it was a topsy turvy December and January for us after McGhee replaced Little. Creditable draws against Man Utd and champions to be Blackburn and our solitary away win in horrendous conditions at Man City and a woeful new year performance at Ipswich.

A win for us and draws in the other 2 would be perfect 👌
