Another week, another game and another Steve Cooper head scratcher of a team selection. No Mavididi and Soumare preferred over Skipp people continuously like to defend him by saying it’s not a great squad etc etc but bloody hell why keep hamstringing yourself with bizarre tactics,  selections and substitutions. He really doesn’t help himself does he, not sure if he is actually picked the strongest 11 available to him yet for any of our games so far.

Like you say, that comment about our defending is comical considering our stats so far this season see us in the bottom 2/3 clubs for pretty much any metric.

This is why the argument about pundits having to be ex-male pro’s is rubbish - they have no journalistic (or presenting) background and many just dial it in for their appearances with little to no research.

Given their manager knows our squad better than ours does, you'd think they'd trust him on this.

 

Think the only issue for them is at RB.  Might be Badiashile, or maybe Fofana goes there. Whatever they do one of them is playing out of position.  But if Cucurella inverts then it doesn't really matter.

A day and a game like today makes me not sorry I gave up my season ticket. I'll be tuning in on a moody stream but we all know what's coming and the thought of sitting there freezing and wet watching what's about to be served up makes me shudder. 

 

Hats off to everyone who will be at the match but I'm not missing it one bit at the moment, and I've been going down to watch them since Brian Little was in charge. 

 

At least 4 0 loss today.
