This was part of the reason I was really off him from the start, the first thing he did was tell the players they were rubbish, something along the lines of well done but you aren't good enough, I understand premier league football better than you and I can save you. Don't think that went down well considering the players think they know more about football than him.

Not long to go now, they can't sack him off the back of a loss to chelsea when we are still out of the relegation zone. But it's creeping closer.

You know this how?

There was no where near enough controversial decisions out there for our manager to get booked again. Someone needs to talk to him about growing up.

Also, bemoaning luck ? Their winger blocked their centre mids tap in man. How much more luck do you want ??

Maybe he thinks getting a yellow will buy him some favour with fans, as in "look how passionate I am, I get yellow cards because I care".

If that's the case, he's very much mistaken. If all you've got is throwing your arms up and being shouty, then he's not a manager of individuals or a team.

We can all question if the quality of the swuad isn’t good enough but some of the glaring tactical errors today were a sackable offence. Evident that Chelsea were light on the left but overloading on the right. Mcateer was instructed to push on the Chelsea CB and Justin consistently had two men to deal with it.

There’s also a huge consistent pressing/defensive shape issue where the oppositions’ deepest midfielder is given a lot of time and space

What the hell is Cooper doing having a moan when it benefitted us probably on the place of the final result? The tackle by Wilf is pure filth.

Another nothing performance. We are genuinely abysmal to watch and do no part of the game well.

The squad is poor, now worse with key injuries, but the coaching is not dragging them up a level. Desperate stuff.

This was the toby TNT gave air time to prior to the game. Thought he was an absolute prize jockey and delighted to have it confirmed.

Wout bosh? Player of the match despite his calamitous, Benny Hill play for their first goal.

This can't be a real post?

At least I'm feeling something again, unlike the numb nothingness of watching Cooper's Leicester.

Only 7 pages of comments after a PL game says everything about the current apathy within the fanbase. Feels like we are in a rut like Newcastle were when they had Steve Bruce as manager. We desperately need a manager that the fans believe in and can get behind. At least then we might be able to create a siege atmosphere and make it harder for away teams at the KP.

Remember when we used to moan about Barnes, Maddison and Tielemans.... Would kill to have those players now. It's criminal how far we've fallen in the last 3 or 4 years

yes we had good players.

I feel we still have a batch of good players - Bilal, Mads, Fats, Mavididi, Buonanotte (I know only this season) and seasoned pros like JV, Ayew, n'Didi, Winks etc.

I'm getting the uncomfortable feeling that Cooper still doesn't know his preferred first 11, and he should do by now.
