Carsley has a much better pedigree than some names mentioned. Improved every team he worked for, So clearly a good Coach.

A winner with the England under 21s which is what got him the Senior job albeit tempory. Again qualified as top of the group.

Clearly looking for a chance to show what he can do.

Cooper was a good English youth coach

I think its a roll of the dice with RVN, exceptional player in his day but not done enough in management yet for what would be a tough gig. Not convinced

I agree with this, but have no problems and all with this scenario. If either manager successfully uses us to get a bigger club then it will have been a fantastic apointment.(Vincent Kompany situation excluded)

We have to understand it will always happen if we are doing well and this is why we need plans in place to mitigate.

Surely the answer is a bigger release Clause in the Contract would help. Though a lot of it has to do with how the Club support the Manager.

That can be a difficult balancing act if they dont talk regularly.

This is how I feel. I'm happy to back him and prove me wrong, but not excited by it

At underage,  Not at any higher level. Carsley has been coaching senior players for a long time.

I think but for the lose to Greece he may well have got the top England job.

And I  wouldn’t take Southgate and he actually did get the Top England Job.

Potter doesn’t want to come, he should get a restraining order against us at this point

"Go on, buy me and my mate a drink. Woooo!"

That's the vibe he's getting but that jumper is staying rolled right up.

True, Corberan went to 14s now back to 6/1, still means nothing.

The market is going to be very volatile because not much money will be going into it.  Even a relatively small amount on one person can have a big impact on the odds.

Yes true he did get the England job when they were looking for a Yes man. And look how it turned out still waiting for success.

Managing the national team is a totally different scenario to club management. LCFC is a high pressure 24/7 job, not meeting up with your players every few months. Carsley, Southgate should not be in the frame

To get those same senior players to buy-in to the next manager appointment getting it off to a positive start.

none of them are likely to have any experience being managed by any of our targets, it would be pointless. i'd suggest you're overthinking it

Yeah well Cooper took a shambles of a team from bottom and got them promoted and the. Kept them up. Think they are quite senior.

Could be an advantage if they've had previous club management though. As England boss they'd probably be informed better than most who the upcoming talent is, and those players that are more trouble than they're worth. Could mean a lot in transfer windows.

Good coaches don’t always make good mangers

If it's Ruud Van Nistelcheat, and he's gone 1-4 with some firms that indicates it's 90% going to happen, then I can see:

  • Vards ribbing the new boss about taking his record of Premier consecutive goals from him
  • Foxes Club store selling a record number of turtlenecks for Christmas
  • Fan's electric razors being reset on a Level "3" beard trim
  • Rudkin changing his name to Ruudkin.
  • A glut of baby boy Ruud names
  • A parade of reindeer before the next home match

Niko Kovac still my first choice.  Has been since before Cooper arrived.  With the squad we have and the style of football he had Wolfsburg playing I think he would be a good fit for us.  Not sure he would want to come here though.

Or Bye bye Ruds
