Heard we’ve been linked with Ricardo Pereira (FC Porto) James Maddison (Norwich City) Caglar Soyuncu (Freiburg) Jonny Evans (West Brom) Youri Tielemans (As Monaco) Rachid Ghezzal (AS Monaco) Filip Benkovic (Dinamo Zagreb) Danny Ward (Liverpool) Davide Lorenzo (An actual waiter)

I ain’t that optimistic on these but maybe Lorenzo will succeed?

I can see that Danny ward knocking Kasper of the number  1 spot and keeping it for many years to come

Based on what?
His only experience is at youth level with England and 3 games with the senior side where he had free range to do what he wanted. Domestically he’s got even less experience.

he has a really strong reputation. I really don’t think there would be much between RVN and himself in terms of risk tbh.

My Gut feeling is RVN isn't coming I'm guessing he's holding out for a better offer elsewhere so question is who do we have as a backup?

He’s done a runner, Carsley plan B

Lot of outsiders who are baffled by this decision, including now Thomas Frank. Who also says it's terrible timing for them.

Kind of contradicts himself massively there.

I think when so many rival fans and managers aren't happy by something your club has done, it's probably the right decision. Id certainly be more worried if the likes of Forest fans and Thomas Frank were praising us.

More risk with Carsley imo. RVN has the advantage with having some experience both at international and domestic level.

Well yes but at the same time, you have to take what professionals say about someone’s tactical knowledge into consideration.

Everyone raved about mckenna, but because he didn’t have that pedigree he had to go to league 1.  I think when everyone that’s encountered him says good things and he’s showed on the pitch his ideas play out nicely… that to me shows that he probably will cut it and it’s just a case of, when, where and how high can he go.

His lack of media ability may halt him at a top club, but he wouldn’t be scared to talk to lcfc tv 😂

Would genuinely take him back as a DOF.

He made only 2 mistakes when here. 1) Rachid ghezzal and 2) signing diabate because the waiter at a restaurant told him to sign him 😂 (or it was something daft like that)

It's like the old Pep pat on the back technique. He only does it when you haven't given him a game. You want make the opposition fume.

Nah diabate was worth it just to see arsenal's players have an absolute meltdown at him for doing a fancy first touch whilst we were 2-0 up

If, for whatever reason we fail to get this over the line, one things for sure, Rudkin will keep his job.

His debut, it was only downhill from there.

Took my then 7 year old to that match. He was begging me for Diabate on the back of his shirt after that.

Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but he genuinely looked ok for his first few games.
