How do you know that? If they don't have someone lined up for Brentford and just using it as a free hit, I'd be even more mad than I am for the timing of this. Makes no sense without having someone else half way in Seagrave.

Ben Carsley or Carson or someone.

And a potentially viable candidate has emerged already. According to journalist Guillem Balague, West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is among the frontrunners for the job.

The Spaniard has impressed with the Baggies, with his side sixth in the Championship table having lost just two of 16 games so far this term.

A fresh update has emerged surrounding Ruud van Nistelrooy’s stance on the Leicester City job.

Van Nistelrooy has been linked with the Leicester job after the Foxes sacked Steve Cooper on Sunday.

The 48-year-old is one of four candidates reportedly under consideration and talks have allegedly been held between the two parties.

Leicester want a manager appointed by this weekend as they face a tough trip to Brentford.

Ruud van Nistelrooy yet to accept Leicester job offer
On Sunday night Italian journalist Rudy Galetti revealed that the Foxes had approached Van Nistelrooy about the manager’s job.

Now, in his latest update on Monday, Galetti confirmed that the East Midlanders were still waiting to hear back from the Dutchman.

Posting to X, he said: “Leicester are still waiting for the response from Ruud van Nistelrooy to become their new manager.”

Galetti added that other names were on the shortlist including Graham Potter while Championship boss Carlos Corberan has also been linked with Leicester.

I'd love to know what Potter is holding out for. Been out of work for a year and a half, the England job is no longer available and he's not getting a top Premier League job. I know we're not great at the minute but if he can keep us up this season, then suddenly the club is a decent prospect again.

Something that isn’t an absolute shitshow?

I'm warming to the idea of Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooij and although he was a great player, he could also be a petulant twat.

Maybe he's grown up a bit now but I can see him getting all smacked arse if things don't go his way here from the off.

Nah I know someone's taking the training, I'm more referring to his comments about "letting them take over for a few weeks" or whatever. If it went on for that long, the board really are clueless. Braindead planning, the b**terd International break was right there.

Someone called talkSPORT earlier and suggested Warnock

True story: met Warnock at a Torquay game a couple of weeks ago. He is a character and a half! He said to me ‘no offence but I hope you get relegated’. Asked why, he said Cooper had screwed him over three times: ‘I hate the bloke’!

Am not sure about Southgate.

Southgate would be a travesty, absolutely moronic if we decide to go down that path.

Just go all out for Mancini.:D

I would relax a lot about survival if Moyes took over.

I'd be extremely nervous if Ruud took over. It's a completely different kettle of fish managing this shit show to his two other managerial experiences.

I really hope we are looking at others. When we signed cooper, it was like cooper and potter were the only 2 managers on the planet. One let us dine so we HAD to sign the other. I don’t know who they are actually talking to but will be really pissed off if RVN or Moyes are the options. Literally acting again like they are the only 2 on planet. It’s Really frustrating.

West Ham will offer Potter the job, as would Everton.

But both are those are near us in the table. With us he has the opportunity to have a number of games before January.

If it really is between RVN and Moyes then I’d go for Moyes.

We’ve been able to score goals this year without any tactical coherence or strategy.

We just need our defence and mentality sorting out.

Moyes, Irvine, McKinlay and Nolan would sort that.

Im really not sure RVN comes with the staff capable of dealing with our circumstance.

Who put a £ in the twat?

He would be a good fit tbf, similar to Enzo but with more experience the players would buy into as well no doubt

It would be a little bit ridiculous to do this now after appointing Cooper. Which makes me think it’s definitely going to happen.
