Do you put up signs that undermine your boss, though, in public?

The fans do regularly. I don’t blame the players for going abroad. They would just get loads of abuse if they had a piss up in Leicester by our entitled judgemental fans.

The fans put up signs about their own boss? Don't think so. We're not talking fans putting up signs about Top or the manager, but the players or a player putting up a sign that relates to his (then) boss in a public place that is shared on social media.

I reckon there was a bit of an in joke about Winks being Enzo's blue eyed boy and the sign was just a bit of fun about that when the players are out on their christmas bash

Some over reactions in here IMO

Agreed, Winks and Coady both seem genuinely surprised when they see it, so I would imagine It’s either what you have stated or one of the lads has said it in passing comment and it’s just banter.

Admittedly, poor timing. But I doubt they thought it would make mainstream media.

It might indeed just be an in-joke, that could make sense. As you say, poor timing. But they would be very naive to think images would not go on social media and into mainstream media nowadays.

I think one of the reasons they jet off somewhere like Copenhagen is to have a bit of normal fun on a night out with less chance of being spotted/exposed than if they did it in Leicester or London. I don’t see too much wrong here - group of young lads, it’s clearly towards the end of the night and someone puts this up as a joke. It’s not saying “we all miss you and hate Cooper”. It says one player misses him, so either aimed at someone or written by one person who thinks he’s funny. We’ve come off the back of a season where we steamrollered a league for the most part and now we are struggling, so why the hell wouldn’t someone miss that. It’s not undermining Cooper, it was not meant to be a public thing - they probably say much worse together - and it’s not that deep. Let’s move on.

I think you're right in many respects. Poor timing, as another poster said, and very naive to think it wouldn't get media exposure in this day and age. As you say, whatever, it's time to move on under the new regime.

Can only wonder if the same person who advises Rebekah Vardy said this would be a great idea.

Can see both sides of the debate on this but if they come out fighting against Brentford, play well, score a few and win the game all will be forgotten by those slating em.

If this is what they need to let off steam and stay tight as a squad then so be it. Lets just see what happens next.

I can see that being true and a good take in it. The more I think about, the more I think it was preplanned event, way before Cooper sacking and is just a squad enjoying themselves. Circumstances, unfortunately doesn't give it a good luck on the surface, but the media are always looking at things like this and making their own story to meet their agenda

Winks did always really big up Enzo every chance he got. So this is very believable

Calm down guys:

The party would have been planned weeks and weeks ago, you don’t just randomly go to Copenhagen after a loss.

This is the last chance to go before the winter fixtures really kick in, and the early kick off meant the boys had time to jet off early.

As for the sign, it would as others have said been an in joke. A player would have repeatedly said I miss Enzo and the others were having a dog at him.

Let the boys relax, as long as they come out fighting on Saturday and show it was the manager, not their own inept performances then I don’t care what they do off the field.

So I'm confused now, which was it?

A few weeks back after the Arsenal game, followed by two ugly but massive wins, the players were supposedly fighting for the manager and showing good spirit and mentality, I said it myself alongside many others.

Fast forward one month and they never backed him from day one, and actively undermined him to get him out? They stopped trying?

I'm not bothered either way because the tactics were shite and we were going nowhere fast, but this whole thing does kind of go to show that none of us are really ITK about what's happening at Seagrave.

if it’s the Xmas party, let them enjoy themselves. Life is too short.

Relaxed and happy players are far more likely to perform at higher levels.

How exactly would you like them to take responsibility?
