We can't afford not to at this point.

Sure we can we banked money for Cannon .We had money available in January but the club felt that they could only buy players of a similar level so didn't see the point. They can spread the payments out to RVN they don't need to pay him in full straight away

I'd love to see the running data from last night. These players aren't playing for him. They've quit

The quickest they ran yesterday was straight down the tunnel at full time.

The Cannon money was to make good to a situation caused in the summer with FFP. The club planned the summer expenditure with Cannon’s departure in mind but couldn’t get a transfer done in August, so loaned him

Shouldn't think there's one club from Premier League down to National Leagues, and even lower, that wouldn't have given him his P45 wrapped in a road map by now. There's giving someone a chance and there's blind stupidity. If he's not gone after this then it's new level of incompetence from those running the club.

There’s clearly a complete disconnect between him and some of the players. God knows what his tactics are!  Whatever they are the players can’t/wont put them into practice!

It’s failed Top, you made the decision now sack him as well. Take a leaf out of Steve Parish’s book and keep sacking until you get the right man!

He's given up, last throw of the dice was saying the players weren't good enough after Brentford. That didn't work and he's out of ideas.

Tactically we look worse than under Cooper. It's a complete mess.

Wonderfully, the club and players have all given up too so at least he's in good company

What the hell was the gameplan yesterday.  He has to go absolutely clueless.  My sons u11 team can defend better from corners.  Embarrassing for a premier league side.  We are beyond woeful.

I’ve said before, the magical gardening leave.

relieves manager of current duties, but still contracted and paid every week.

king and vards to step in on a temp basis.

financial issue fixed for you.

What solar system are you from?

I wished that he would try something different. I am sure that most of our fans would accept poor results, if they can see that we are trying something different and that might get the players enthused again, like Enzo managed to do last season!

If he was in the last chance saloon and under scrutiny and review by his bosses, which he should be by now, they see last night, what do they see that says to them there's anything inspirational, innovating or encouraging there. A performance like that with no change of shape, a token 5 minute try of Daka and just containment again to keep the score down, when you should be under review, surely would be the end. It's like the man had money on 0-2 (I'm joking lawyers), he couldn't have done any less to change the outcome. It cried out for 5 subs at half time, a system change and a roasting, what does he do - give then another 15 minutes. They've had 15 matches and not offered anything, what was another 15 minutes going to do?

They know were going down, they obviously have no money to spend or just do not want to spend anymore this season so I guess they are waiting for him to walk, he is waiting for them to fire him, he either lasts out the season  or they let him go by mutual consent with a few games to go.

Manager and players have checked out.

He didn’t acknowledge any players at the final whistle.

Vestergaard stormed past him when he was subbed.

Top needs to get rid now, then clear the decks in the summer.

Vestergaard is a knob. Acts like a complete dick and has spoken out in interviews about how he didn’t like previous managers who were here at the time. He’s a complete waste of space, terrible defender and continues to be a waste of money at the club. I wouldn’t be surprised if he now doesn’t like Van Nistelrooy either, probably going to cry to the ownership about it.

But yes agree Van Nistelrooy has lost it and like I said previously he should have gone weeks ago. Awful appointment.

Don’t think l’ll be going to another game this season. Just a waste of time and money, they should refund the fans it been that bad.

I’m never one for refunds at football. Fans should just not go. These owners, players, management don’t deserve support.

Anyone know if Top and Rudkin were at the game last night, if so maybe just maybe there has been a conversation with Ruud and an acceptance to agree to his previously offered resignation.

Top definitely wasn't

If he’s sacked that means Top & co have to admit they make a mistake. When have they ever done that?

About 4 months ago...when they sacked Cooper mate. Christ alive.

Guess where that got us? Nowhere. Sacking Ruud will do NOTHING, the players are horrific. He switches them out, it makes no difference as they've mentally checked out.

I get what you’re saying it’s just a terrible watch. Don’t know when my next game will be either, just wasting my time off and money. 150mile round trip for me.

I cant believe he hasnt walked before 10am this morning. What is he hanging around for ? Wolves next games are against Everton, Saints. west ham and Ipswich - they will be at least 11 points clear by the end of that run. He cant keep us up. He shouldnt be anywhere near us for next season. What are you still doing here man.
