Press conference should be fun.

The corridors os Seagrave are right now echoing with the sound of Ruud loudly singing ‘Walking on Sunshine’ to himself as he prepares to face the media…

I think at this stage even he's gobsmacked to still be here

Oh, i think he knows full well what is going on, and is playing everyone. When he finally gets his marching orders the day after relegation is confirmed, he will drive out the car park with a huge smile on his face.

Can only assume we have a break clause when we're relegated and it's cheap/free to sack him then. So it'll be Monday 21st.

We have an ownership who can't afford to sack him AND probably don't have a sensible replacement.  Nobody's coming now, they want to see what chance they have here, additionally its a pretty toxic environment.  Both "Top" down (whilst Rudkin is here), we'll have a reputation now & if its a 50/50 you wouldn't come AND entitled, unmotivated, lazy players up.

And a manager who knows exactly what he's doing and what the situation is and is TOTALLY staying for the best pay off he can get (understandably so, sadly).

He's said the same thing in post match comments for the last 6 weeks plus, by this point you would be much angrier, he looks disappointed and no more.

And he never says what he really thinks, no honesty.

I hope someone from the press actually asks him how the fvck he’s still here?

I would like someone to ask him how he feels about being our worst manager ever, and one of the worst managers ever in the PL.

Ideal scenario:

Our relegation gets confirmed very soon, so we rightly sack Ruud cos he is shit.

We somehow managed to accrue more points than Ipswich and finish 18th.

Man City are found guilty on all counts and are given a 500 point rolling reduction and immediate relegation.

We stay up as a result.

...and then a meteorite filled with gold and platinum crashes into Belvoir Drive and we are allowed to claim the mining profits as revenue...

Everyone keeps using the term “manager”, the last manager we had was Pearson. The club seems to prefer a head coach, recruitment throwing players at them and saying, here coach him. None of them manage these days and the game is worse for it.

Hes very media savvy and well trained, I imagine it will be a bit of a non event of a conference.

Hopefully someone does try and force the issue and asks him directly we know you've asked for a settlement to leave and it's sat with the owner.

If I can spin a positive from all of this, alot of outsiders to Leicester, who couldn't really understand why a group of fans want the owners out or didn't know who Rudkin was until recently are realising what we are on about, set aside the long list of historical issues, this one is playing out in front of everyone and they are all staggered at what's going on here.

The thing is, this bad run has gone on so long that you can have all the training in the world and you just cannot and should not be coping in this situation. The fact he hasn't cracked  actually shows how little he gives a shit.

I sense a frosty conference today, seems to be suffering under pressure.

Hopefully the journos press him on some of the questions he dodged on Monday night

As if! Will be the usual 'its difficult, but every one is working hard and taking it a game at a time' bollocks.

The first and only question should be "why are you still here?"

It will come out that it’s all severance related and never get a manager job again.

Destined for working as a pundit on Dutch telly.

Re: potential relegation break clause, does anyone know the mechanics of such agreements. Would this become active as soon as the club are officially relegated or does the season have to conclude and PL shares exchange? This could be very awkward/painful viewing if it's the latter.
