Why does anyone think he'll be roughing it in the Championship with us? lol

He'll somehow think he's far above that and will be gone with a 'mutual agreement' within hours of us going down.

Same as what happened with Kompany at Burnley. A big club in Europe will want a name and they’ll get Ruud.

This is a massive concern of mine, we are cannon balling toward relegation, if the board are backing Ruud, we need full agreement that he will manage us in the championship and if he tries to leave in the summer forfeits any compensation, if he's not fully committed to next season, get rid now and bring someone in who might get us fighting.

Let's take the positives from the match:

We're not Southampton.

We've also bettered Derby's 11 points tally for the entire season in 2008 - not much to shout about admittedly!

Wasn't he in talks to become Coventry manager before we swooped in for him?

He also had talks with Hamburg but they're another basket case of a club

Ruud is much more appealing to the Thai and overseas market from a King Power perspective. Ex Man U and Real Madrid. Once one of world's best strikers if not the best. Compared to Cooper ex Wrexham, looks like the offspring of the Elephant man. Dressed like a sack of shite.

Can see why Ruud is still here. In footballing terms both poor but Cooper better slightly.

People think, that it’s a given that he would stay to take this basket case club back up and it will be like when we went down last time.

They are in for a shock as the PSR limit will be the most stringent it has been for over 12 years, plus whatever the football league have in store for us.

If that's the case with PSR and the EFL punishment then we best hope he stays

If he has any decency he will walk, but I imagine he wants the sack so he gets compensation, we are a hopeless case incoming Rob Edwards / Russell Martin or some other duff manager.

We don’t look as shit? Did cooper lose 9 out of 10

IMG_7094.jpeg

by shit i mean performances, its pretty clear, look at the games back under cooper, we could have lost all of them, and got points at southampton and ipswich thanks to them going down to 10 men, beat bournemouth by some miracle etc

as i said BEFORE, neither were/are the right fit, plain and simple

It’s grim and I think we are at the point when it’s fair to say, he isn’t cut out for this.

You could also say the same amount the small amount of points RVN has achieved.

Brighton fortunate to get a point.

West ham the flood gates were open with a record number of shots.

Spurs hit the bar twice.

thats why i said neither have done great guns, and thats why i said the only thing thats improve under RVN could be the performances

and could is a stretch at times

I know some say we’ve got Premier League quality players but I’m really not sure if we really have any. MADDs? Form seems to have dropped since his injury. Bilal - hot and cold at the moment? After that I’m struggling - Obviously Ricky was international class and Fatawu had promise. The rest of them I think are mainly absolute shite

This squad is definitely in the worst three in the league. We are where we should be. I don’t think it’s worth yet another managerial change this season.

Would I keep him for next season? Probably not. I think we’ll need a reset and a fresh approach.

The hours of sleep I've lost trying to figure out why we were better in 23/24 than we were in 22/23...

Thankfully this guy has come along to explain it.

RVN is no good as a coach his whole demeanor exudes apathy and failure. His tactical decisions cost us time and again. What truly scares me is being in the Championship and having him in charge I have zero confidence in him even if he had better players to work with. He is a dabbler full of himself and not the events happening on the pitch I cannot see another win under him the spurs was a fluke given how bad they were. Coaches are supposed to improve players and teams we have gotten marginally worse under his tenure. Let’s see what he does next based on today Coulibally earnt a start will he. Reid did absolutely nothing again so why play him. 75 minutes team did well but taking Wild off was a joke yes recently back but he was the heart and van nistleroy ripped it out. Amateur coach trading on past name.

It's a strange one for me.

I quite like Ruud as a bloke. He speaks well, clearly intelligent, and I like his aura. I can imagine the players actually quite like playing for him.

But his record is crap and ultimately it's about results.

I'd probably stick with him tbh.

(and my opinion might be swayed because I also admired him as a player)
