Well given Wilf was being slated for his attacking role prior to his double assist vs Palace, and then Justin was being hammered before he grabbed 2 against Arsenal, our players have a habit of doing something that makes them difficult to drop for a game or two.  So with Wout on edge right now, clean sheet and a goal, inevitable...

I really want ruud to have an instant impact but I just can’t see it with what he has to work with . Attacking wise he may get us playing some decent football but defensively there is just no helping what we have

Thing is though, there is an element of it you are better with the ball there's less pressure on the defence, if you are in the oppositions box, you don't need to defend. 

 

This is part of the reason Coopers tactics were baffling as we dont have good defenders.
