Love the approach RVN has. Miles better than Cooper who, looking back, always seemed to feel sorry for himself.

RVN already laying the foundations for getting the basics right.

Any points we can accumulate this month are huge. However they come.

Can't deny we've had huge amounts of luck tonight and on another day we lose comfortable. Really soft foul on Mads just before the second was massive. Its not sustainable to give so many attempts at goal.

However positives were:

Attacking intent when we broke, got men forward at times but poor quality let us down

Positive subs and tweaks from Ruud. Felt adding a defensive Midfielder was inevitable but he resisted and replaced Vardy at a good time

First time I've seen VK look like he's enjoyed playing for us since his first couple of games.

Midfield 2 did lots of good stuff but don't think it's a reliable combo in the long term

Goes without saying but a win is the good for the place. Gets everyone in a positive mindset straight away. Rightly or wrongly, Cooper never had any backing from the stands. Ruud has that already.

It also builds confidence. If they players "think" the manager will improve them, that can do wonders.

It's a big month. If we do well, the psychological effect on the team will be huge. It will also help us recruit in January.

RVN speaking after the match. A proper manager who actually knows what he's talking about. I love him already.

He's quite down to earth and not getting carried away.

Sensible guy.

In 5 minutes he spoke more sense than Cooper had in all his managerial career. I would have said "in all his life" but I'm trying to be polite tonight.
