Great point!

First half I was concerned, far too slow, far too clumsy, dilly dallying on the ball, running into trouble, time and time again.

When we did get out, go forward, we motored and looked dangerous.

Second half was an improvement, thought the game was gone at 2-0, couldn't see a way back, but when we got the 1st I saw some fight and felt we'd get back to 2-2.

Thought we were gonna get a winner when we had that free kick! lol

I thought a point was fair, and I didn’t think the performance was all that bad.

Brighton in all fairness didn’t impress me a great deal, they didn’t create hat fulls of chances, and I felt we didn’t defended badly as a defensive unit either.

The first goal for me could have been avoided had Lamptey been closed down, you can’t just let a decent player have a pop unchallenged like that.

You can see there are some nice passages of play, we’re trying to build properly, and I didn’t think we were too uncomfortable today playing out from the back, one or two moments but on the whole it was okay.

What let us down today, was the midfield and the width. We missed Buonanottes energy and ability to press, which took something away from the attack, and Soumare had some good moments and then some horrific moments, he still has poor all round awareness and allows players to dun past him too easily, but then again he showed some moments of strong midfield play. We suffered when Ndidi went off, I thought he looked really good today, back to his old self! And Skipp was finally an abomination when he came on, he’s dog shit.

The two goals we scored were good passages of play, and I think we deserved a point in all honesty, there were some good signs today, there’s an identify starting to come back, and with the return of the likes of Winks and Buonnanotte, we should be alright!

Ayew was also disgusting today, just offered absolutely **** all, so I can see him disappearing once Ruud starts to build the team he wants.

We’re a few agreed January signings away from being comfortable in my opinion.

Happy with 4 points from two games, and there’s signs of things going in the right direction.

Obviously just a difference of opinion, but I thought Skipp was far from dog shit.  We looked better going forward when he came on, collecting the ball, driving forward and playing forward passes. I feared the worst when he came on but thought he really impacted the game.

In all honesty, psychologically this tie was as good as a win. (Strangely, for Brighton, it was actually worse than a loss.)

Ruud learned more about his squad without actually losing, the owner got some confidence, etc.

A good (and even better, a lucky) December could really see us in a fairly good position next year.

The subs changed the game. Mavs we know what he can do, but Bobby was the real surprise. He's looked great in his last 2 cameos. I think Ruud is slowly getting a better idea about his starting 11

Thought our full backs were very decent for most of the game, and we were very decent in the midfield. Weakness for the majority of the game was out wide, Ayew was so so poor and the Lamptey goal was him and the culmination of multiple occasions where he’d be ten off Lamptey and then overrun the ball trying to get back, happened a few times. McAteer wasn’t awful just hasn’t got the ball control to beat a man or pin a man behind him, worked hard though. Once Reid and Mavididi were on we were actually able to pin their full backs, absolutely need a new winger as a priority , Ayew can only play last 20/10’s when he has no need to track back and follow runners and can sit between a full back and centre back

I sing at most away games, I generally stop till the end but I don’t believe that makes me a better supporter than those who don’t sing or decide to leave early

I’ve been going for 50 years Nd been a ST holder for about 30 of those.

During that time I’ve seen dozens of fans who go to every game, home and away, and sing their hearts out all game. Not many of them still going nowadays.

It’s none of your business what people do. Just do you.

It's sadly this selfish attitude that will never be argued out of someone. They're too blind to realise that yeah do what you want..turn up or don't, choice is yours. If you do turn up however you are depriving seats from others. Those at the game are there to drive the  team and thats generally needed right to the end (often more so in dying moments). If you don't want to be part of that then just do you and don't come.  Anyone who argues a full stadium to the end isn't best for the team needs their head checking. But yeah you do you.

How long have you been a season ticket holder?

i was a ST holder for probably 10 years up until 2008 I think, I gave it up when i started studying for a degree with the Open University and then went on to have child in 2010, I tried to get a ST again on and off since 2014 but without joy, Went to all games last season in a push to get a ST again but missed out again as likely my dad didn't have enough points. We had been waiting for new stand and had used a ST of somone who has a fair few in previous years.

It isn’t just that. It’s when people are coming down the stairs, something happens on the pitch like it does today, they pause on the stairwells and causes all sorts of issues. Wasn’t there too but my bro was rightly pissed at people ‘going, but then not going, then going’ while blocking other people’s views

yep, when they're in a group, and a few stand up and then start saying their goodbyes, whilst the game is going on.

Mcateer should be nowhere near a premier league starting 11.

Ayew off the bench too. Start Mavididi. Looked miles better when they came off

Second that.

I don't know how McAteer is a starter in this league. Squad player at best, doesn't have the quality in the final third to justify a spot in the first XI.

Book a train with enough time to get back. No excuse today for it. Maybe midweek but not today when there’s plenty post match

cheaper fairs for some I guess... certain trains have cheaper prices. At the end of the day if a fan decides to leave a game early it shouldn't be your business. They miss the goals that's there problem not yours. This is a topic gets discussed time and time again and it gets boring.

The fans I don't get are the ones who buy a ticket and spend most of the time in the concourse. It's like watching the game in a pub but paying £50... least the beers cheaper in the pub.

They were absolutely terrified at the end, every time their central defenders had the ball facing their own goal they shanked it away for a throw. Vardy and Daka put in a proper shift.

Our pressing is already miles better than under Cooper. We’ve ridden our luck a touch but it’s amazing what happens with better coaching and more intent.

I know BDCR made the telling contributions but Mavididi completely changed the dynamic. McAteer is a championship player and Ayew should only ever be in the pitch at the fourth official’s say so.
