Do we know how Jakub did in the u21 game? I know it was 1-1 but did anyone actually see this game? Did he look ready? From when I saw him last season, he is a very capable shot stopper, not great with his feet, but seemed a decent backup. I like him.  But he's played 90 minutes and whether he'll be rusty if called upon? Certainly a better option that Ward, but worry he's a little rusty.

Hoping that if Madds is fit enough to start then he'll get a place on the bench.

We had two absolute must wins at the end of the 22/23 season. We drew both and went down.

Our must wins this season, we’ve not done great.  Win against Saints only. Draws with Ipswich, Palace (who actually won’t be down there but they were at the time) Everton. We can’t keep drawing or worse losing these games. Especially not the ones at home.

Needs to be a win.

On the other hand, remaining unbeaten in all the bottom 6 fixtures so far put us in a better position than most of them.

Win this and we stay up

There, I’ve said it

I think I probably agree, if we win that leaves us on 17 from 17, to get to 35 (for Ipswich to get more than that it would take them upping their ppg from 0.75 to 1.09 for the rest of the season) we'd need to average 0.85 ppg until the end of the season. We'd be 8 points ahead of Wolves and at least 9 ahead of Saints.

if Mads isnt fit fully expect Jakub to start, just for how we play, cos Ward isnt good enough shouldnt even be 2/3rd choice

Interesting that the social media accounts haven’t been inundated with the usual training videos. Focus hopefully.

Hoping Ruud has requested it tbh. Need to instal a proper mentality, or at least not be plastering images of who's fit and who isn't fit all over for them to see.

I think wolves will turn their season around and we will finish 18th ahead of Saints and Ipswich, but I’d love to be wrong.

Why does everyone think it won’t be Ward in goal, seemingly just because we don’t like him? Actual team selections suggest it will be Ward starting.

Ward has only been number two so far this season because Stolarczyk has been injured. Now that Stolarczyk may be available again, previous 'actual team selections' have no relevance.

for what RVN said regards Mads and how he played out from the back in our games against WHU and Brighton, Ruud likes that, and Ward cant use his feet or save, hes got the reactions of a 90 year old at times

Ward has been on the bench cos Jakub S hasnt been fit enough

I am confident. When they were called upon to beat wolves in 2023, they did. I don’t think this match is something that they would lose, but I don’t see them keeping with the momentum, or maybe I’m wrong. Who knows, up the Leicester.

Agree. We absolutely have to win, we stand a chance of not dropping into the bottom three then over the next few weeks.
