Popular Post frany104 Posted 19 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 19 December 2024 People turning their noses up at Allison. hes 10 times the player than Mcateer is. 100% yes for me. 11 1
ajthefox Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 In the S*n so probably horse shit. That said, no thanks.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 Always thought he looked alright. Wouldn't be mad if price was low.

Scotch Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 The definition of inconsistent. Looks amazing at times, looks horrible at others.
Popular Post Stadt Posted 19 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 19 December 2024 We should almost have a blanket ban on intra-PL signings, unless they're under 23 or it's a completely favourable financial deal. Almiron would be neither. Almost 31. 23 goals, 6 assists (!!!) in 186 appearances (139 nineties). Swerve, swerve, swerve. I think McAteer is crap, a lower Championship player but I'd rather him than sign Almiron on what would invariably be a 3 year deal. 7

AKCJ Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 All well and good stockpiling these kinds of players but we do actually need to sign some quality. I like Almiron in that he's a tryer but we don't have any consistent quality from the wings. 1

Silverfox14 Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 Can’t see he would add that much…think there are higher priorities
Tielemans63 Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 Getting slight Jordan Ayew vibes from this rumour
moore_94 Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 (edited) Had a good 10 game run in 22/23 but other than that he has been generally shite Edited 19 December 2024 by moore_94 1 1

But how people are turning their nose up at this just shows the snobbery and that I don't think anyone would be happy with anything we do or sign. People need to wake up and realise how far we've fallen, accept it. They were happy to accept the glaring red flags and should have done something about it rather than claiming it was all fine! Too late to piss and moan about every single thing now. That said i'd have been quite happy to take Almiron even when we were in our 'pomp', let alone now. Edited 19 December 2024 by Matt 1 1
Nick Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 I’d take him on loan. The lad was amazing 12 months ago assisting and scoring for fun. What I do think is that in a three he’d find Vardy - guy can pick a pass. 1

Almiron isn't an improvement on our options. We should be improving the starting 11 to stay up, not signing squad players. 1
whoareyaaa Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 (edited) No, to weak edit: just seen its a loan, would take that tbf. Edited 19 December 2024 by whoareyaaa
AKCJ Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 Would hate to waste a loan spot on another player that doesn't improve our first 11. 4

Nobody is, I think we'd all take him over Ward right now but I doubt Liverpool are interested in letting him go tbh... 2
EastAnglianFox Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 Can’t wait to see Ayothee back tbh Its like we’ve learnt nothing if this comes off
enmac Posted 19 December 2024 Posted 19 December 2024 At the end of the Newcastle game, him and Ruud exchanged big smiles like they were old friends. Thought that's saying something.
