Said we'd be relegated before a ball was even kicked.

Just a step closer each week now.

Feel for those who actually thought we'd survive this season. The false hope must be painful.

Ruud inherited a mess, but there is ZERO excuse for playing Ward, ZERO excuse for not starting Buonanotte and ZERO excuse for not bringing him on at halftime.
He needs to at the very least improve the shape and I'll say it for the 10th time today, do the basics, if he can't show that he can get the players doing the basics, it's probably safer to not spend in Jan and just go down for a couple of seasons so we can finally rid the club of the deadwood we've been hanging on to for so long.

No excuses now, we have to start improving what we have at the very least, or even 100m won't save us in Jan.

Next 2,possibly 3 games we are going to get battered......no confidence for the rest of the season for me.....down by March.

Very good chance this is the middle of 5 losses in a row too, with probably a lot of goals conceded.

January is huge in terms of our season prospects, both from a transfer point of view and some slightly kinder fixtures.

I think we will get a Pearsonesq rebuild unfortunately I can see a Holloway, Levein and Kelly time before that. If and it’s a big if we stop up who knows but 10 years+ of nothing if we go down. It’s between us wolves Ipswich and Southampton imo. Finish top of that 4 is the aim. I’m not confident doing it.

I said relegation would happen before the season started.

Our squad is so bad. I can't believe people actually thought it was any good.

On reflection when Enzo was poached by Chelsea all the hard work of last season was undone as everything was set up for him, Vestergaard signing another 3 years, Vardy another one year, all the scouting. Along came Cooper who tried to copy his playing style  having read about it or watched it back without the same tactical understanding  or man management to implement it!

The players are now a confused shambles.

This group of players were never going to be good enough, don't let one season in a lower division sway you, it's pretty much the same players that got relegated two years ago.

Defence are a shambles, wingers don't contribute enough, we rely on a 37 year old striker to score goals. Only player that has improved this squad, for this level, is Hermansen.

Long time since I've disliked a group of players more. At least two years ago the likes of Barnes and Maddison were contributing goals and assists to the team. When those left, plus Tielemans, we went back about 15 years. Take Buonanatee out the team, which the manager has done now, and we offer next to nothing.

As it stands I think we'll go down, buying in 1 or 2 players won't improve things, we need 4 or 5 first team players at least, we'll have to break PSR for that i think, so we either really splash the cash and deal with points deduction next season or plan for relegation. We messed up in the summer at a time we really needed to be spot on

Who knows.

We have a mish mash disaster of a squad, Ruud looks like he wants us to have decent possession due to the amount of time we wasted today trying to pass it around, and Ward presumably being picked for foot work.

The one bright spark is we did improve with the midfield sub's showing that midfield is a big problem, Winks in particular.

I fear though that Mads will be leaving this January, we only seem to be able to sell star players.  We sell him so we can fund the overpaid squad players, bizarre way of running a club.

There’s no way we sell Mads in January…. He will go for half his value if we do.

Worse squads than this have stayed up in the premier league previously.

It’s not the quality or lack thereof that’s our undoing, it’s the lack of desire, effort and willing to win games.

Ipswich have a worse squad than us in terms of quality, but they go after every game and leave nothing on the pitch.

That will ultimately be the difference, they’ve got players who are up for the fight, we’ve got Jordan Ayew who ambles around the pitch, if anything needs to change drastically it’s the attitude of the team, or the tactical approach….. we’ve got to want it as much as Ipswich do, but I don’t think we do.

There are some very dark days on the horizon, I dread to think what next season will be like, we will be in the same situation as Derby were, just for different reasons.

Is it really that inevitable? We've been truly terrible but haven't been in the bottom 3 yet.

Ha. Give it one more round of games...

Can't see Pereira at Wolves being a good fit.

They were terrible against us despite the easy win. More misplaced passes than a Beaumont Leys Mastermind Christmas Special.

I appreciate the flawed logic there in that we still lost to them despite them being so poor, and we need to be better than them.

But they're not going to be gifted 3 goals every week, and neither will we gift 3 goals a week. Mads will be back soon.

Look, we're pretty shit. But we only need to be less shit than a poor Wolves side to stay up. Ipswich and Southampton aren't going to trouble us.

Our fans can't complain about a lack of effort and belief while simultaneously throwing in the towel themselves.

Deals already done with Chelsea, remember you heard it here first.

This wouldn't surprise me, I think Jakub could step up though, but we'll do something stupid like buy a keeper and he'll be crap whilst jakub rots in the under 21s with Ward on the bench

We're struggling against an inept Wolves side.

Ward is still employed by us.

We have several players who wouldn't look out of place in a pub team

We're conceding shots and goals at an alarming rate.

I'm going start of April.

Fixed

However, the answer is 6 June 2085 after a solid 60 year career under the tenure of a (eventually) cybernetically enhanced RVN and super-clone Jamie Vardy III.

Saw the title and had to say everyone take a mental break please! It’s Xmas eve. Take your mind off our teams struggles for a few days. Play with your kids if you have any or your neighbours. Watch some classic comedy or some movies but anything but football. Nothing is gonna change or matter between now and Boxing Day so chill.

ill Check back in on Boxing Day where we can resume our impending gloom & doom lol. Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅🏼🎄🦊

You never know until after January. That’s why people pre-relegating Southampton and Ipswich are foolish.

If any club makes 2 or 3 good signings their outlook flips.

I hope we sign players with one eye on next season because we are guaranteed to be on an embargo and need to ensure whoever comes in will be big for us if we go down.

Id put the brakes on selling cannon and souttar tbqh
