It’s not often I say this but I am utterly embarrassed of this team. I watch Ipswich and they get battered 4-0 but you can see what they’re doing. They’re well drilled but lack quality. I watch Southampton and they’re utter tripe at times but they play some really nice stuff.

What are we?! What are we seriously? Are we a nice footballing side? No. Do we knock it about nicely? No. Do we defend well and counter clinically? **** no. What are we?!

I’m really done with this season.

At least we can score goals!... Oh...

The fact is that outside of the county we are not liked, people see our club as (among other things) nasty and that our managers are effectively sabotaged by certain players deliberately under performing and whispering in the ear of a frankly gullable owner to disguise their own faults and weaknesses.

I don't know if this perception is justified but the common denominator in this seasons shambles is not management - both of the appointments being imao wrong for different reasons but Cooper if nothing else seemed to realise that his squad was so poor that they were and are frankly incapable of playing anything other than dull, boring football and trying to keep a clean sheet and nicking a win or a draw.

This worked to a small degree, but l believe he was hired to be the fall guy for the real culprits and it worked, judging by the constant battering he received on here.

RvN (notice how he is "Ruud" whereas Steve Cooper was ALWAYS "Cooper") is clearly way out of his depth but will not take us down, that will fall to another knee jerk fall guy appointment when he has made it all but impossible to stay up before he departs.

And January?

How much faith do you have in a man who prefers Ward to Iverson (or to a clothes horse for that matter) or doesn't pick our best and possibly our most (only?) creative outfield player?

Or in our DoF?

Personally l think the spend in January should be zero because the people doing the picking are at best useless, loans or nothing until both of these fools are gone and we recruit capable people or we inevitably go down - sadly l know which one will happen first.

Whilst the manager can't legislate the defending/goalkeeping, he's the one who picks the team; he could've played Iversen. The substitution were very strange also; brining Buonanotte on for 5 minutes and leaving Vardy on for the 90 when it's clear the game is gone after 60 minutes is crazy. It's too early to be calling for his head yet but today is very concerning; need a reaction in performances.

Can anyone explain why Buonanotte keeps not getting picked? He's arguably been our best player this season and has genuine quality in the final 3rd yet sits on the bench. Starting Ayew over him today is just bizarre.

Completely agree.  For me the defence is absolutely the key area. We need to stop conceding so many goals at least then we have the chance to get a draw now and then.

We also need to team to show some fight quite frankly. Too many abject half hearted performances today.  We can carry 1 or 2 passengers but right now we're carrying 7 or 8.

We're not down yet but it looks pretty bleak.

Agree this bunch of losers cost poor Steve Cooper his job.

RVN is out of his depth and on a hidingvto nothing.

All down to terrible recruitment since Puels

team.Rogers started this rot.

Honestly, that wasn't a losing performance by the outfield side. Comfortably should've had a draw. Yet that clown in the net gifted them 3 goals.

It really was……

The lineup was hideous, and there was absolutely intensity from the off.

It’s game over for us, we had to win this weekend and we haven’t.

Cherish the decade we’ve just had, because there are some dark days on the horizon again for this club.

I think this screams he will be back at Brighton in Jan

Getting pumped at home without scoring against a poor side is the worst. Wolves were so ordinary but we got exactly what we deserved for being half arsed and with the team selection we went with. Abysmal.

Can't agree, we had opportunities and were equal match for them across the pitch.

Would've started someone different to Ayew, but otherwise that's the side you'd expect with the injuries we have.

Ward cost us the game, simple as. Second half was just a shit show being 3 down and then able to sit there

Never mind the absolutely shocking display on the pitch, the club have ditched the Piglets Pantry sausage rolls with cheese and replaced them with the anaemic looking Pukka Pies ones. Genuinely gutted as me and my son really enjoy them pre match. ☹️

Absolutely piss poor

No idea what RVN was up to there. What was the plan in the second half? Load of random subs that made no difference. If we had got a goal back in that second half they would of shit themselves. But no we couldn't be arsed and let wolves pass it about. Complete lack of urgency all round.

We have so many poor players. Both full backs need replacing urgently. They are so bad.

Ward was a joke as usual but what hope does he have with the clowns in front of him. Skipp is getting close to being one of our worst ever signings and I hope I never see ayew play for us again.

Today was first day, he was suspended and then couldn’t play against parent club. Today first day he didn’t get picked. I have no idea why, some truly concerning selection decisions today. Truly worrying.

Piss poor team selection, piss poor substitutes, and Ward in goal, RVN has had a mare.

The team lack any intensity and individual players don’t seem to be arsed about doing the basics.

The club is being very badly run from top to bottom.

I must have been at a different  game this afternoon. Wolves won every header, 50,50,were 1st to the seconds most of the game. For most parts of the game I would have looked like pirlo in their midfield as there was so much time with no pressure on the ball.

He's not looked good under Van Nistelrooy to be fair, the west ham game in particular he kept on dribbling into trouble. I would still start him ahead of Ayew though but can see why he wasnt picked.

There was no fight, no desire, no tactics and no clue. It made Steve Cooper's tenure look relatively effective.

The team selection was a disgrace from the start. Ward, Ayew, Skipp. Should have been Iversen, Bounanotte, Winks.

I think Ruud's coming across clueless. Even from the touchline there was no direction. Coady came over for a chat with him about 50 minutes and showed more managerial prowess than him.

Just utter disgrace.

That was worst than Newcastle last Saturday, Buonanotte should have started, bring him on with 5 mins left was a waste of time, second goal was like watching a comedy show, no up tempo for the second half, playing two up front with Daka might have been an idea, no urgency what so ever.
