I think.....sure someone will correct me but the last time we beat them, we got battered for 89 minutes until Impey picked out Ian Marshall who beat at least one player to hammer it in at the Kop end! Limbs

Took a 4 points penalty on FPL to bring Salah in for this (exceeded my transfers I had built up by one). Also got VVD and Diaz so expecting high scores there.

Certainly not worth bothering about on Boxing Day though.

Ruud's definitely starting Ward again. His press conference gave it away when he claimed he 'couldn't understand' the criticism.

He needs to come and sit where I sit ... he will understand then

I'd have some rotation here.

Patson in whilst Vardy gets a rest.

Anybody but stephy.

Facundo.

Okoli

Stevie wonder in net?

Every chance Jayden Joseph is involed in this.

There's a defensive injury?

Just go to Nottingham on a day out if you want to see a place full of mindless, violent, bloodthirsty savages.

Still an upgrade on coventry......in film/ tv terms, a mix of trainspotting, shameless and stig of the dump (for those old enough).....although stig had a better vocabulary.

As for the football, even as an optimist i fear that we are getting spanked there.  6 or 7 is quite possible

Coventry would remind me more of Threads if they gentrified it a bit.

The management need to drill into the players they must keep their heads and emotion under control when the goals start rattling in. Could get embarrassing. All about damage limitation.

If Ward is in goal we will concede at least 10 maybe even 15 goals

It's all gonna depend on how ruthless and clinical Liverpool want to be, at that point.  How badly do they want the record? :P

I love a christmas comedy special and I'm at the point where this could be the funniest of this year.

Prime time as well. Imagine going to this lol

Liverpool could rest their whole starting 11 and still beat us 8-0.

There is just no point playing this game. Awful form, injuries to key players, no confidence, horrendous kick off time for boxing day, only way up there is by coach/driving, potential thrashing :nigel:

What's the point? Call it off, take the 3-0 loss. There is not a chance in hell we get anything but a demoralising loss. Just imagine if someone gets a red card?!  This could add more damage to an already demoralised squad.

We had such a poorer quality of squad when we came up in 2014. But they had determination, we had a team that we could get behind, we were competitive, we had a coaching structure that worked, we had something to believe in.

Have zero confidence in our shit show of a team and manager 👎

I'm pleased Ruud's getting it in the neck.

Sunday was potentially the game of the season and for him to select that team and for the team to play in the manner they did was completely unacceptable.

I'm counting down the days for him to fuch off. We need a proper manager even if we have to accept we're going down.

The club needs almost a total rebuild in my view.

He was probably the only one when approached that wanted the job!

So get rid of him and replace him with who exactly? Who do you rate good enough for this rebuild we haven't got the money for? Don't even think about Moyes or Potter because you know they ain't coming!

It's a fair point and it needs someone with real judgement for the qualities we need in a manager.

I'd go back to the tried and tested of a manager from the Championship / Division 1 who's doing well and building something as we need a Pearson, Little or Wallace to really make sweeping changes and change the culture of the club from one of cosy incompetence
