That interview is shocking, hes deluded

Im trying to get CEO ect to help jon!

Jon is the bloody problem,

And you didnt win shit! You knobba

Your dad did!  Since you took the reigns its been a massive jump off a cliff, exept for a lucky managerial appointment in enzo, and that was a punt and could of quite easily been another RVN.

I think its a bit ofd to think he's doing think protect Rudkin.

You have to start somewhere.

“You have to start somewhere” we’ve gone from a European semi final to being breezed over by Oxford and facing relegation with a deduction, sheer incompetence and poor ownership has led us to this and this interview has demonstrated how far we’ve yet to fall as his naivety shows us we won’t be stabilising or progressing any time soon

Apologies if already posted by someone..

But this

“If you ask me about that time, I still do not understand why we go down. I have no idea,” Srivaddhanaprabha says. “I think the main problem was we had no experience of a relegation fight. We were so relaxed that we were going to be OK.

He says everyone said Rudkin was responsible for PL title. No one said that. He was appointed to DoF role a year before, that success was down to what was put in place before he was appointed.

He doesn’t know why we went down the first time? Are you serious…

He hasn’t read the room at all, and he’s said all the wrong things.

"We were so relaxed that we were going to be OK"

And yet in the same interview he's basically telling us to relax, it's all fine and we'll be OK.

NO YOU FVCKWIT ITS HAPPENING AGAIN

Hes still giving that which shows nothing has been learned. If we don't get promoted this year we will next... I will call it now the only way we get promoted is if we get further relegated and even that is a long shot. Im not sure we would walk league 1 like we did under Pearson.

These interviews only confirm to me the mentality at the club is “everything will sort itself out” and has been for some time.

As an outsider looking in, this is exactly what I took from it.

It’s naive at best to expect to be promoted next season, unless there are significant behind the scenes plans on an entire squad and coaching overhaul.

Worrying comments on PSR too. Sounds like a significant points deduction is expected.

This managerial appointment will literally be the difference between staying in the league and relegation imo.

One thing is certain is that he has absolutely zero intention of selling.

At least one thing I take from that interview he isn't 100% wedded to "pep" football. Lots of the other stuff its just sound bites.

Where does he say that? All I can see is him using Maresca as an example of how we want to play. He sounds very wedded to Pep football.

I thought we were in fluke territory before (in terms of fluking the right appointment) and this has fully confirmed it.

A load of self serving nonsense. Totally disrespectful to the true achievers of the success and a re-writing of our history.

Thanks Aiyawatt.

He says it in the interview with BBC. Say football is changing, long throws etc...

What was he watching ?

The worst part is he said that the football we played under Maresca is our identity and how he wants us to play.

That does not bode well for our next manager more boring sideways and backwards passing around the back.

We HAVE to remove this poison from our club. Make it unbearable for him to be here. We need to be directly calling for him to sell up, if we can sing about Rudkin, we can chant for him to sell up and go.

You absolutely know where the players disinterest comes from. He thinks we were a shitty little club. He has no respect for the badge of course his staff are going to think little of us.

He has no respect for the club. He is nothing like his father. We need to get him

out. Thank you for confirming you’re a ***** Aiyawatt.

"we are haunted by the past" perhaps look at what went wrong in the past then dickhead

They blame PSR like those that govern it forced us to over spend rather than encouraged us to live within our means.

If we couldn't spend because of PSR, they could have come out and said it and we all respected and accepted it.

Spending hundreds of millions to only be as good as 14th in the Championship with a looming points deduction is not acceptable.

The snippets from his interview with Owynn came across as naive, after reading the interview with Percy, it paints an even more naive picture.

As a few others have said, the quote of “I still do not understand why we go down, I have no idea”.

That is a seriously concerning choice of words. That clearly shows that there was no review. We as fans knew the problems, yet he was too oblivious to see them.

The interview comes across like James Maddison’s mindset in the relegation season, “We’ll be absolutely fine”. His comment to Owynn regarding promotion next season just indicates that mindset.

The only paragraph of hope in Percy’s article is the realisation that Rudkin needs help, but you could say why on earth is he being so loyal to Rudkin.

The appointment of a technical director will either build us back up or break us even further.

On balance I think quiet Top is probably best 😆

On Balance top leaving would be best

Says he isn't selling anytime soon so we are stuck with it. In the hope he lucks out with 4 appointments. Can't see that happening. i guess if we get Technical Director right  that will help getting the right manager. But very worrying.

“We have to get back to the identity of Leicester, what type of football we should play and what players we should bring,” Srivaddhanaprabha says. “When changing the manager a lot of times, it’s not nice. I’m not a fan of that. But the life of a manager is results-based, so we have to be ready to improve.

“I think it was so clear when we got Enzo [Maresca] on board, what football we should play, and the type of player we should bring in. We are really focused on how to improve for the club. But with the limitations, because of PSR [profitability and sustainability rules] and the markets are not the same.”

More Pep-ball I'm afraid.
