I'm sure something like this has already been posted but I just got curious as to how the King Power era looks like in a time series, so I banged this together.

If this was a Kingpower Crypto it would be known as a Pump & Dump 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Pearson Era, the dismantlement and then decline.

Even if you go before that. We had a Pearson era and then the dismantle when he left. It wasn't until he came back again that we really started. Pearson had a dream.

Just seen Mike Ashley is in for Wednesday. If he made a bid for us now, would you accept it?

He’s got to be better than our muppets. ( just)

Going from Top to Mike Ashley would be going from a death row to multiple years of solitary confinement. You're not going to die, but god it'll be boring.

It's a slight upgrade, but I'd like to think there are slightly better options out there lol

It isn't just about the owner, a lot depends on the staff they bring with them or hire.

The lads at Wrexham appear to have appointed savvy people. Does Ashley have a good group around him?

Will say what I said a few weeks ago and stand by it - I don't want him anywhere near us, but he's better than what we have.

Well, less bad than what we have anyway.

Ashley runs a very tight ship, at times it might be very frustrating and perception that we aren’t investing sufficiently in the playing squad, but rest assured we would not be in the position we find ourselves in now.

Only if Pardew came in on a 10 year deal

No. If (and that's a big if), Top sells, there has to be better out there than what we saw at Newcastle.

Also, he's pigheaded with clear disdain for the fans. He'd hire Dennis Wise to the board in a heartbeat and we'd just have to put up with it.

I had an interesting but heated conversation with a KPFC Loyalist this week. He labelled fans who wanted new ownership like myself arrogant and entitled. He thought that the success of 2016 and the cup win in 2021 should allow KP to stay as long as they wished to on the back of that. Then they same tosh about how no other club our size can match our achievements and would swap in an instant etc.

Interestingly, he was happy for Marti to be sacked on poor performance and was also happy for club employees to be held accountable except for those who have earned the lifetime right not to be. He just wouldn't entertain that Bot & Crudkin had no meaningful input into the success and in Crudkins case, has been directing football badly for a decade. What struck me was how much he believed in what he was saying, as if zero doubt had crept in during the decline of the past 3-5 years and if anything had hardened his view.

It's their staunch support of KP/Rudkin which is so stubborn that makes me doubt they will ever change, suppose that makes our battle to get the club back an even more uphill struggle

When was the last time we were in 23rd in March? Don't think it was between 2004 and 2008 because, despite being abysmal and eventually dropping, we weren't in the bottom three that much, even in 2008 we only fell in quite late and the bottom two were adrift.

1991?

Not even. According to the history section on this site we only dropped to 23rd after losing against Ipswich in the penultimate game of the season.

I would make this argument - if an employee got fantastic sales resulting in 30% increase in value for 5 straight years, then followed it with 3 years of work that resulted in the company losing value to less than when they joined, would they be kept on?

Got to the point whenever these clowns talk now feels like I am watching an episode of the office.

We need Rodgers back to play the part of David Brent.

Interesting....but, worryingly...not surprising...!

It must be like trying to talk sense to people who blindly follow some weirdo death or religious cult and trying to explain logically that what they believe in isn't real and doesn't make any sense...!

In the end, you just have to walk away for the sake of your own sanity as they will eventually find out for themselves .....but it will probably be too late at that point.

Out of interest, it wasnt David Icke you were talking to was it..?!?
