The way he just continues to deal with us with the same lack of care and dignity despite everything he has done, I genuinely question his real reasons. This isn’t a guy who loves his father and cares deeply for what belonged to him. Im sorry, it isn’t.

Two things this season gave my a sneaking suspicion he really has very little to do with the day to day running of the club, especially when he's not in the country:

  • The late Jan kerfuffle, where he turned for the Oxford (H) game, finally spoke to the media (where he publicly backed Marti and said he needed more time), then we disastrously lost the game and Cifuentes was sacked the next day. Would Marti have even been sacked if Top hadn't been in attendance?
  • That stupid rallying cry/message he sent out before the Swansea (H) and Hull (H) games - he could have easily sent similar messages at any point in the several weeks beforehand, when the club was clearly in real risk of going down. But those messages only went out when he was here, attending matches. Weird...

It’s the other way around big decisions only get made when he can be arsed to participate in the running of the club.

Isn't that what I'm saying?

Even when he's finally forced out he will release an AI written statement that just reels off all the achievements while King Power was here.

Your support has always been unwavering though. Remember that.

To be fair I also misunderstood your point at first. I think it's because you led with "he's not involved in the day to day running of the club" which initially read like he wasn't a decision maker. Then the mention of Jan kerfuffle threw me further lol

It did make sense in the end though haha

I'd love to edit it for clarity, but 'The late Jan Kerfuffle' (RIP) is too funny

God rest her soul, one of the best to do it and will be greatly missed.

Top is so thick he probably struggles with object permanence. If he isn't at the stadium he can't think (literally he just buffers) about the club.

Anybody remotely hoping for some form of change with King Power are in denial, nothing changes with Aiyawatt and Rudkin at the helm.

Think we are hoping for something in spite of them. Like the Enzo season. Even though that wasn't without the cracks showing from above.

You just know the KPFC lot are going to be all told you so if we shithouse a League One Promotion. They'll probably want an open top bus.

i have no confidence in us going up next season so I wouldn’t worry about that.

No, same, I have a bad feeling they will make us a third division club for a while.

I started reading this thinking, who the **** was Jan Kerfuffle and when did she die?!

I was thinking this should be in the transfer news threads. Our new Dutch striker for next season.

Okoli is one that you’d hope could be moved on. He’s of a good age still, not yet reached his peaked and was part of a failed team rather than being individually one of the worst culprits. You’d imagine there’d be interest from Italy and elsewhere in Europe.

The problem as always, what wages is he on? And there’s about €8.5 mill left on his amortisation. I think it doesn’t matter so much for PSR in L1 but still represents what we’d need to break even .

Probably likely a loan.

Poor man's Daniel Amartey, and Amartey was dreadful.

I thought we'd bought a dead Danish striker.

Wouldn't put that past Rudkin.

I mean, ayiwatt spoke to the geezer from the trust in the car park who’d  waited for him and asked him to “just talk to us”, communicate. Instead of being proactive and possibly inviting him into the club for a chat either there and then or at some date in the near future he just stood there (about 20 yards away) looking wet with all his security. Probably got in his car and didn’t give it a second thought once he was out the way.

KP machine seems more focused on their vanity match in a couple of weeks time than league one

Absolute denial from Top and co.

Susan Whelan knew what was coming and was very much a big loss to them.

She left at the right time.

It’s a bloke, he was a right back for Ajax in Amsterdam, his brother, Watta, was the better player
