Let's be honest they let us do what we wanted but it's all too slow. Mavididi is embarrassing. So lazy and never tracks back when loses the ball

Enjoyable game after the absolute dross of the last few weeks, the simple difference was they took their chances and we didn`t.

Much better line up far more effort across the park , better tactics, lack of quality at both ends of the pitch.

Hopefully we can build on this and start taking some points.

Also, think I've seen enough to believe we might be okay but as long as we put in the same amount of effort. Chances will come and we're not going to play against players like Haaland, Foden and Savinho all the time. 

 

Improve the full back situation and hopefully that'll bring more confidence to the defence.

Sums it up when we lose 2-0 but there was nothing but applause at the final whistle.

 

Basically saying we played well, but Manchester City still won comfortably. Offensively much better despite the lack of wing threat, and we should have scored at least once. Serious defensive reinforcements needed in January.

Foden just put in the worst individual performance I've seen from an opposition player all season.

Gutted about the result but enthused by the performance, at last we are now starting to look like a team, we have a plan and you can see patterns of play, last couple of games as we start to get players back in key positions we have looked well coached, the only issue today was two defensive lapses and some poor decision making at the top end when we had chances. 
 

Ruud will be a good manager for us, he has been here a month and whilst results haven’t been great there are definite signs of improvement, if we can recruit well in the window and bring in 3/4 players who are immediate starters and it improves us defensively then I think we can have a good 2nd half run and pick up a few results.

Only when we get some quality into the team. January is important because this team has no quality. Maybe BEK can be excused

I think that game might lull a lot of people into a false sense of hope. We will not get more space in midfield all season. I think 16 out of 19 get at least a point today. Make no mistake Man City won that in first gear.

Goal 1 - Soumare allowed the pass into midfield. Kristiansen didn’t pick anyone up. Defence shuffled over. So Justin is marking a midfielder. He can’t mark two people. 
 

Goal 2 - Kristiansen dives in on McCatee. Leaving us open. Coady leaves Haaland to mark no one. 
 

El Khannous played well. 
Soumare was okay. 
Vardy had a mare.

I'm a pessimistic most of the time....but even I saw a good performance from us!  Feeling optimistic that we can turn this ship around.  Once the keepers back and we replace Justin, I think we will be looking alot better.

2 new wing backs are an absolute must. Both poor defensively, both, especially Justin, panic with the ball at their feet.

January is never a sale! All players are massively over price.

1 no player that is any good will come to us while in the bottom 3  (unless loan)

2 we dont have money to sprnd unless we sell

3 none of our players except mads have a value, and not sure selling him eould be in our best interest

4 all other players wont move as there money is to good. And other clubs wont pay the same for the mediocre performances. 

 

Unless there is some miracle the transfer winfow i feel will be miserably frustrating

There are definite signs of RVN’S tactics taking shape. There were signs of it against Liverpool, too. We’re starting to look like a much better side than we did under Cooper, which we definitely didn’t against Newcastle and Wolves. There are signs of an actual identity developing, which is encouraging.
