The loss is on Ruud there, villa were there for the taking today but his game management has cost us. Waiting till we went 2-1 down to make the subs when we were desperate to freshen things up with them turning the screw for a good 10 minutes beforehand.

The decision not to start Buonanotte again is really baffling, and it’s now 2 games in a row where we should have been walking away with something but have got 0 points from them.

Defensive reinforcements can’t come soon enough but I fear it will all be too little too late now.

So they left it tight for so long just for shits and giggles?   lol

No.

They managed the game and conserved their energy.

We're not going to find better replacements with the numpties in charge who run the club behind the scenes.

I hope RVN stays once we are relegated because at the moment, if he isn't, everyone is just wasting their time.  So, why should we be expected to bother?

My brother who’s a Villa fan said Leicester were dross overall and that Villa were very poor anyway. He said we lacked ambition and were generally negative and deserved what we got. Nothing!

Infuriating that with how the game pans out, we could have gone on to win if we were braver and had more confidence about us.

What do we do when we equalise? Weirdly go back into our shells, bend over and take the pressure once again. With the hope that we'll somehow get the break on the counter again and all will be well.

We're not courageous enough in these kinds of games. We don't do enough to impose ourselves on the game. We're not good enough to sit back and soak up pressure.

And then it comes down to individual mistakes. Justin's brain fart when we're having to defend as it is is just embarrassing. That's the other bad thing about us - we don't make it hard enough for teams to score against us. We gift too many goals. And the main culprit so far this season is probably Justin.

RVN probably has to be braver too. Why wait til 80 mins to bring on players that could be game changers? Why not be proactive and chase a winner? No team goes through a season trying to survive when needing to score at least 2 per game just to stay in it. I sincerely hope for our sake, let alone his, that if we get players in the January window that they hit the ground running. They have to because some players wouldn't look out of play in non-league right now (Justin, looking at you).

We simply have to win the next two league games. If we don't, I don't know where the next win comes from.

That team/squad is championship standard, really poor summer window signing players we didn’t need when ££ was tight.

Im loathe to blame RVN because of the above but we are arguably worse than we were under Cooper.
It’s just a mess from top to bottom.

Manager allergic to making subs that could change the dimension of a game until after the horse has bolted.

It also doesn’t help when your right back decides to **** about rather than clear the ball……. Justin may as well have booted it into his own net the ****.

Problem is if we do go forward and be aggressive we get torn a new one at the back because the defence is so weak. We concede where we are negative it'd be 6s and 7s if we attacked. Until we fix the defence we are screwed

Close but no cigar City again.

Watch us now go on to underperform against a team closer to our level (Palace). 😒

Need 2/3 clever signings in Jan or we're spent as a Premier League force. I won't hold my breath.

Lack of quality all over the pitch, and the worrying thing is we don't seem close to changing that. New blood needed before QPR game and two huge home league games

Should have been 1-1. Played well but nothing to show for it again. More performances like that and we have a real chance to stay up

With 18 to go, playing for the draw is no longer good enough. If we drew every game until the end it probably wouldn't be enough to avoid relegation, we need wins and a number of them.   Won't be long until we're needing to win every other game to stand a chance.

After the goal we needed to carry on with the momentum, but instead we drop off and invite pressure once more and the inevitable JJ balls up happens.

Then it's wibbly fecking wobbly again where we're lucky to even be in it for 15 mins, before a half hearted effort with 5 mins of regular time remaining where we get in promising positions and do nothing. It really is grim.

The club don’t deserve us.

One of the worst run clubs in the league, one of the worst sets of fans in the league- we're a good match.

I couldn’t understand the substitutions, too late and generally strange, may as well of played Alves as we had nothing to lose at 2-1

I’m just disappointed that Leicester didn’t make changes earlier or risk playing the same line up as v Man City. Every week there are individual mistakes but we are not creating enough to really expect to win games

Our mid-fielders continue to want too much time on the ball, missing obvious one-twos and quick passes forward. Can’t create anything like this.
