Safestandingfox Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Very disappointing when they've made a song and dance about youth players in the week this week, Monga and Alves (who even featured on the preview graphic this morning), Club doesn't deserve to moan when the likes of Nyoni and probably Monga get out at the earliest opportunity, they're shown zero trust and zero chances to even see the bench against 2nd tier mid table fodder. 2

Seems strange he's talked about Monga all week and then when he has an opportunity to include him in the squad he doesn't.

This is a manager who played his full strength against our b team in the carabao and also in Europa League just to preserve his rep. They also have to be good enough. I agree that a couple should be on the bench, but it's probably the weakest our academy has been in ages.

Would rather have seen 2 of the usual 11, the 7 from the bench and 2 youth tbh. Be ridiculous if we lose this. Massive game midweek as well. Hopefully no injuries

We need to get the first team back to experiencing winning games of football again, and unfortunately that means no time for blooding youngsters - shame for the likes of Alves because I think there could have been room for him somewhere
