Edit; what a shame if he goes. Months and months of detailed research to dig out a rough diamond that could serve us potentially for years , all flushed down the karsi in favour of Coady, a second rate has been championship player

Italian player and Spanish players do find it difficult to adjust to UK football conditions plus you got family friends and the colder climate.

I'd much rather we looked at Portuguese or South American players. Those peasants are more willing to break their backs for you!

He’s a player who has also got better out the team… Sell if he genuinely isn’t settling but the fact that he is in and around the Italian national team means he must have something about him or they really lack options. 
 

He needs minutes one way or another.

Okoli's rating surely has gone up given that he's played in the Premier league. So we should be getting our money back and more.

 

I'm sure Ruud has another CB lined up as we can't be relying on Coady and Faes for the rast of the season.

I don’t agree with this, Faes is an outright better footballer but the unit looks awful with him in there because his communication is poor, you could hear Coady from halfway up the stands during the QPR match, it’s settling for everyone around him

I'm not really sure what he did wrong to be fair.  I think there's likely an element of not asserting himself among the group being both new and relatively young.

Whatever happened to our recruitment approach that looked beyond the stats, found the leaders, the lads with strong personality (Fuchs, Wasilevski, Kasper, Huth…could go on and on, and none of those lads would ever have cried about moving country) - we’re just a shadow of our former selves when it comes to bringing in the right personalities

Depends if Okoli’s heads in it. If he’s destined to leave and is home sick, he is likely to be on his arse…..
