Exactly that. It's the kind of deal we used to do brilliantly until Rodgers got excited.

 

If we're returning to that model, even though we've probably been forced into it through circumstances, we can't complain. We used to pick up some absolute gems.

His ball-carrying ability will be a much needed and useful asset, but after looking at some of the goals Parma have conceded this season, my main worry is his defensive awareness which at times looks suspect. 
 

But fingers crossed he turns out to be a shrewd pickup.
