The poor recruitment, the stupid contracts, signing average expensive players in a non priority position, swapping managerial styles but not players, the lazy half hearted leadership of the club, the malaise that a job for life creates, the lack of ability at Board level, have all resulted in a squad that’s not good enough.
 

It’s that simple. Prime Sir Alex couldn’t get more out of this lot, they’re near to playing as well as they’re able to. 
 

I feebly hope for a change in ownership (it’s not going to happen) whilst resigned to watching a relentless slide down the pyramid.

I thought the singing fans were pathetic last night. As soon as we went a goal down, there was no support whatsoever for the players to try and get back into it. Just anti Rudkin stuff. 
If it’s like that until the end of the season, they will have played a part in taking us down.

Still unsure how we didn't get anything from tha game. They were shit, we were just shitter

Effort was there, should’ve scored at least one. Sloppy goals conceded. We just lack quality throughout.

Palace are safe now. This has created a mini league, which I think we all knew would be the case. We just some how need to better that mini league. 
 

Saints are gone, it’s down to us Ipswich, Wolves and Everton. Whichever two teams have the best window wins.

It’s painful to say because he’s our greatest ever player, but if somebody else was as wasteful as Vardy was last night, they’d be getting pelters. It’s testament to how dreadfully run we are that we are still relying on a 38yo for goals in the PL.

Will they? They’re shit….. as are Wolves as are Ipswich. We are all as shit as one another, if we can sell Okoli and Cannon we may have and edge in the market, we’re going to have to spend our way to safety.

You watched the game last night and that's your conclusion?    

 

Paying fans are perfectly entitled to vent their ire at Rudkin and the ownership, Lord knows something needs to change.   The blame lies squarely on their shoulders not the match going fans, who as a group are a pretty fvcking docile happy clappy bunch.

There’s just nothing to suggest we can do any of that. We struggle to offload players because they’re crap and on high wages and then we somehow bring in worse talent to replace them.

Should have scored in the first half but yet again don't take our chances. Palace didn't even bother turning up for 45mins and then realised we had nothing and just upped their control of game which you could see minutes into second half.

 

There is a general lack of quality  with our team which we all know but the sheer lack of movement when we have the ball and the amount of negative or defensive first touch that shows us and gets us playing backwards is just disgraceful. 

 

We miss Fatawu so much just for his willingness to be positive with his first touch and get us forward.

Ultimately why do we think we deserve to win games and stay in the league if we can't be arsed to spend any money and invest in the squad? It's quite frankly ridiculous to think we won't get relegated with this current shower of shite squad. The majority are championship at a push. Top and Rudkin are either so arrogant that they think we are better than we are or they just don't give a shit

Unsure if this has been mentioned but the players looked absolutely exhausted after 35 minutes tonight. Wtf is that all about.

Our midfield is so weak and are happy to avoid making a tackle apart from Bilal. The first goal could’ve been avoided if Soumare hadn’t just stood around and watched then sprung into a light jog when the player was passing by.  He could’ve cut off his lane, fouled him or tackled. We never seem to do tactical fouls but happily give away stupid 50/50 fouls in dangerous areas like the second goal. 
 

Physically weak players. The defence isn’t great but the lack of midfield actually doing anything apart from watching doesn’t help. 
 

It’s sad to see Vardy like how he is but it’s to be expected of someone of his age and career length at the top. 
 

I felt we were playing some good football on the first half before the defence started playing Rodgers ball and killing any momentum. Once they got that out of their system the pace picked up.
 

Mavadidi doesn’t realise it’s a team game and seems reluctant to bring anyone else into the game.  Facoundo was trying too hard to do everything when he picked up the ball deep.

As soon as we conceded the chant was about Leicester. 
 

Yes Rudkin out chants got sang, which is good as more people seem to be joining in now, but it does not last as long as it should.
