There should be more anti KP sentiment. It's not Jon Rudkin's fault that he can't do his job properly. It's the bloke who continues to employ him through failure after failure.

If Rudkin goes what evidence is there that says we'll start making good decisions as a club?

You could have the same argument for any of the managers we’ve had?

It’s not Coopers fault he couldn’t do his job properly…

Ultimately Director of Football is the most crucial role in the football club and by having someone not qualified to do the job and performing poorly in the role we are at a significant disadvantage to the rest of the clubs.

In a world where everyone is trying to get that extra 1% which can make the difference between success and failure at the top level, we are putting ourselves at a significant disadvantage by continuing with the status quo.

There’s a chain of responsibility and you start at the bottom and work your way up.

if the next director of football is not able to function properly then it will become evident the owners are the problem. But to me it looks like someone who is fully committed but has been badly advised for a very long time. He needs to put on his big boy trousers and accept that he can’t rely on this person.

im yet to see any arguments for what Rudkin has done well. We don’t have a vision. We’re not profitable. We’re not improving fan relations or community integration.

and this one’s on Susan but we’re not succeeding commercially.

we are very luck that we have hands off owners because there’s nothing worse than owners playing with a club without the expertise…. However, it only works with the right team in place to control those aspects.

every manager has had the same problems it’s time the club realize that we are hamstrung by the director of football

Judging by the way Top reacted to the criticism he got for the relegation, I wouldn't be surprised to see him be just as petulant about a protest.

Least it will be the end of the media narrative that we have great owners. That is still absolutely a thing. Most fans of other clubs I talk to still think that too. We must be forever grateful because of what happened 9 years ago. It's a bit laughable by this point.

Yes we are shit.

But its all a bit over the top.

Last year 3 up from the championship went straight back down.

Same again ,we are caught up in this

Massive gap between levels.

The damage was done 2 years ago due to Rogers and a few  players forcing transfers.

Whilst others were running down contracts.

We are now in the YO YO category .

Mainly down to piss poor recruitment.

The only way out is excellent recruitment

This is what won us the league.

It’s not over the top. It’s years of piss poor decisions that need to be called out. Otherwise what’s to stop us continually dropping and dropping?

I'll say again, the only protest that works is a complete boycott. Until enough people get on board with that nothing substantial changes.

I'd ordinarily agree, but in this case I reckon protests have got a chance. Evidence suggests Top's skin is pretty thin...

That's a simplistic view that ignores the poor decisions that took us from challenging the top 6 to never being out of the bottom 6. We're fighting that gap through piss-poor financial management, shocking - utterly shocking - recruitment and contract policy and consistently inconsistent choice of managers.

We used to laugh at clubs who were run this way.

Clubs needs a complete reset!

need a new model firstly getting rid of rudkin and appointing a proper sporting director.

recruitment has become a shambles turf the lot out and get in fresh young scouts and a proper head of recruitment.

This post is as bad as Tops relegation statement.

If Top hears that a protest is being planned, I cannot imagine for one moment that he will be at the game to witness it.

Same for Susan most probably, neither are known for courageously facing criticism are they?

I’m surprised there hasn’t been any plans to protest this evening? Potential for some air time if there’s any journalists floating around the stadium or Seagrave at all.

The protest can’t just happen outside the stadium, it needs to happen inside as well. It needs to be big, vociferous and destructive (in a non-physical way).

Some fans on Twitter are suggesting we take to the pitch, and once we are 3-0 down in the 40th minute, why not do it? How many of us are they going to ban?

Enough is enough.

They'll stay away for "security reasons". Remember the stewards running next to the people carrier. They have no class.

Can't help but feel that the majority of people don't exactly know what they want to change...just that they want change and better results on the pitch.

Need to be sure everyone is on the same page if protesting as the message becomes weak and diluted if people are not sure what they want.
