Phenom Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 A couple of young Mexican midfielders that we could use: Elias Montiel can play as an 8 or 6 and is probably the most attainable of the 2. 16 year old Gilberto Mora. Probably not a chance but you never know. Is already starring in Mexico’s national team. Can play as an 8 or 10. 1

The player I would be looking at from the Scandinavian market to replace Winks would be Pelle Mattsson. He's available for around £3m and offers physicality something our midfield is crying out for. The more I look around for midfield 6s with good defensive data, the more Mattsson strongly comes out on top. There’s a few others scattered across the globe, but Mattsson’s numbers in both categories is very strong. Excellent shout from you the other day. @Phenom shout of Elias Montiel is a very good one too 1
RonnieTodger Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 I saw Celtic were linked with Bajcetic on loan. We could do with him.
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 21 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 August 2025 Had a look through the senior squads of Prem teams to have a look at who might be available for a loan or cheap permanent deal - not that I would necessarily have some of them, but I do think we could get them Arsenal Albert Sambi Lokonga - 25 year old centre mid Bournemouth Chris Mepham - 27 year old centre back Romain Faivre - 27 year old right winger / attacking mid / centre mid Brentford Mads Roerslev - 26 year old right back Brighton Abdallah Sima - 24 year old striker / winger Chelsea Aarón Anselmino - 20 year old centre back Alfie Gilchrist - 21 year old right back / centre back David Datro Fofana - 22 year old striker Man City Issa Kaboré - 24 year old right back Notts Forest David Carmo - 26 year old centre back Omar Richards - 27 year old left back Taiwo Awoniyi - 28 year old striker Emmannuel Dennis - 27 year old striker West Ham Andrew Irving - 25 year old centre mid 5 1

I very much believe he could fill the roles of both Ndidi and Winks. A midfield 3 of Mattsson, Zeneli and BEK/his replacement would make an amazing midfield trio. 2

Bluearmyfox28 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Include a loan for Rak-Sakyi in an agreement for Bilal to replace McAteer. 3
Number 6 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 From a few of the early games I've seen across the Champ we seem desperate to add some physicality to this squad. We're just far too slow and weak overall.

moore_94 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 NOW SPEND SOME BLOODY MONEY Around £40m in transfer fees and probably £400-£500k a week in wages
Poznan34 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Maybe we're under a transfer ban limiting us to frees that they haven't told us about?

The Guvnor Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Well we need to get rid of so many of the useless fcukers first and then a full scale rebuild.
ronnup Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Chances of getting the 4 or 5 we need in before next week are getting very slim now. A big worry. Just dont see the flurry of incomings happening 2
FoxinNotts Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Squad is bloated. We still need to off load 8 more before we can bring anyone else in. 👀 1
Bryn Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 It is so ****ing obvious what the club needs. Sell pretty much the entire first team squad. They're shit and on massive wages. In their place, fast-track the promising young players and supplement them with a handful of proper Championship pros and some further young talent, on lower wages who want to actually be here. Find a manager who can build a squad based not just on pedigree or talent but also character and desire. Clear the debts, we can't keep fiddling the numbers whilst the authorities scrutinise us. Properly sort out the finances, I don't think they're too far gone as to be irretrievable but they will be if we carry on. This would properly reset the club. Then Aiyawatt needs to sell up. His primary company is on it's arse and he needs to go sort it out and he hasn't got a clue what to do with the football club. He sells up and the club thanks the current higher ups, Rudkin Whelan et al and shows them the door. If they've gutted the wage bill and left a club with a decent stadium, state of the art training facilities, a modest but tidy squad and minimal debt, they will get a solid buyer.
Skidmark Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 We should be all over Brownhill. There is absolutely no excuse now.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 The only Leicester team making any new signings is the cricket team.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 (edited) After likely sales my somewhat realistic dream would be: - Left Back - Harry Amass (Loan) - Holding Midfielder - Pelle Mattsson or Charlie Savage £3m - Box to box midfielder - Besfort Zeneli £5m or Josh Brownhill - Attacking Midfielder - Finn Azaz £12m or Joao Rego (Loan with permanent option) - Right Winger - Rak-Sakyi (Loan with permanent option) - Striker - Mihailo Ivanovic £10m + £2/3m add ons. Would cost us anywhere from £13m - £30m dependent on which choice you make, but I do feel we need 6 more in for Marti’s system to work and a boy can dream. Edited 22 August 2025 by Bluearmyfox28 3
