I can only assume that the plan is to stifle them for as long as possible with defensive plodder wingers, a la Steve Cooper, before unleashing the might of Mavididi and MacAteer upon an unsuspecting Spurs defence. No debut for the new guy? Either we're planning to bed him in slowly or he's yet another signing that doesn't improve the team. Prediction 5-0. 1

Seems like he is opting for building familiarity rather than creating adaptability.
